  1. Hi everyone. I am 9 months post sleeve and down 120lbs. As of 3 months ago I started having inflammation, redness, bruising, and swelling in my hands and feet. The symptoms are similar to rheumatoid arthritis but I have been tested for it and it's come back negative. They also tested for lupus, gout, and more. So far everything negative. I was wondering if anyone else has been experiencing this or if they experienced this at any time post op. So far the doctors havent been able to give me any answers. Anybody else out there going through this?

  2. Hi! Can you craft a sugarfree substitute?
As a rare treat (quarterly [emoji23]) it *may not* pose a problem but if it becomes a weekly habit, its a lot of cals to drink
(A generic cal count - likely on the low side)

And a few articles to review:

But I would also like to add that we're all adults here capable of freewill and the choice is always yours
    Good Luck [emoji170]

I think more than tea itself I just want the tapioca balls. I was wondering if anybody had issues digesting these. And for sure I would only get a small one with the least sugar possible:)

  3. So, I'm 6 months post sleeve. I have lost 102lbs overall. I workout regularly and watch my portions and food choices but I really miss certain treats. One of them is milk tea with boba. I'm wondering if any of you have dared to venture into boba and if so, how did the new little pouch do? It's the one craving I'm having a hard time shaking. I think it might be the squishy chewing I miss.

  4. On the 19th of this month I will be 4 months post op. I only weigh myself once a week just so I won't become obsessed with the numbers but I did notice that my last few weigh ins have been the exact same weight. Pounds and ounces. Exactly the same. Is this yet another stall or at 4 months am I through losing? How is it possible to weigh exactly the same down to the ounces for weeks?

  5. Nurse here too! Hard to have the energy without my daily coffee. I drink mine on the weak side so it isn't too acidic. I don't worry too much about the diuretic effect of coffee, which I think is the primary reason why surgeons don't want you taking it, they want all your Water to count. So just make sure you're getting plenty of Water in too.
Thank you. These long shifts can be a blessing and a curse all in one. It's hard with no coffee.

  6. if you're at the point you can eat solid foods, then yes. But they have twice the number of calories for the same amount of Protein, just so you know... some also have a lot of sugar, so you have to read labels. Plus they're kind of like glorified candy bars for a lot of people - as in very tempting and ripe for abuse - so they can't have them in their house. I always have a few lying around - I've never binged on them - and they're often good for "emergencies". I probably only eat a couple of them a month, though.
I found some with 1g sugar, 21g of Protein, 190 calories, only thing I saw concerning was the carbs. It says 5g net carbs on the front but the back said 20g of carbs due to Fiber? Should the carbs be of concern?

  7. I think I passed the stall ,lol. I was stuck at 267 but I weighed myself yesterday and now I'm at 263 . Cutepie34 what's been on your menu lately ? I need some new ideas. Hope all is well
Hey Brandy, I've been having refried Beans, cheese cubes, nuts, Protein Shakes, fruit smoothies with no sugar added and added scoops of unflavored Protein. I've been doing a lot of chicken veggie Soup. The moist chicken seems to go down best.

  8. I had my sleeve April 19th, the first 2 weeks I was losing weight but after the second week I have just stopped losing. The scale stopped moving up or down. It's been the same for 2 weeks now. I'm eating the right foods, walking and doing as much as I can on my side. Has this happened to anyone? I'm feeling confused and have moments of regret since I still have pain from time to time.
