  1. Hello Everyone! Surgery was a success, and I am feeling fine, but never did I expect for my phone to make me so dizzy after surgery. My voice is so rhaspy and my face is so droopy, anyone else feel the same after surgery? Also, sorry for the inactivity. I’ve just been sleeping and drinking... sleeping and drinking. πŸ’€

Ruby, so far everything is good. I've been walking sipping on Water, chicken broth, Jello (not my favorite, too sugary) I just now got some carnation Breakfast milk. [emoji4]

That’s great! I’m so glad that you’re recovering well and you’re eating. I have been drinking Powerade Zero and Water. I’m not ready to move to Jello just yet. But I am doing well 😁.

    Good morning
all. I am doing much better than yesterday. Omg yesterday I was gassy and stuff. Cause I think they blow up your belly in order to get the surgery done. I haven't heard from Ruby yet, but I'm hoping she's doing fine. I was so nauseous yesterday, like I was about to throw up. I got up and. I'm now waiting for the surgeon to give the ok for me to start on Water. I will keep ya'll updated have a blessed day all.

Hey Vavoon! This is Ruby! I posted something at the end of Page 4 of this forum. I’m so happy we’re both over that hard part. It was so terrible the first 9 hours after my surgery. 😭 But now I’m doing great! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ˜

  4. Hello everyone! It’s Ruby! I am officially well enough to get back on here. 😊 My surgery went AMAZING yesterday, but the first 9 hours after waking up from surgery were absolutely awful and painful. I was not expecting THAT much pain; and that’s coming from a girl who had her armpits removed last year. But today I am feeling better than ever! I have been drinking my liquids and walking, walking, walking! My Surgery Siblings: let me know how you all are feeling! Thank you for the endless support, everyone. You all are amazing! 😊

Hey lovelots! I am doing amazing today! My surgery went extremely well and I have been walking, walking, and walking! I am not going to lie, the first 9 hours after waking up were absolutely horrible. I just kept on sleeping and sleeping, I would only get up to use the restroom. However, today I am getting up for fun and enjoying my new stomach! From what I remember, you had surgery yesterday as well. How did that go for you? How are you feeling? 😊

Hello lyladyp! I just had my surgery yesterday and, I’m not gonna lie, the first 9 hours after waking up were so painful and uncomfortable. However, it gets so much easier after that. I am feeling amazing today! I am positive that all will go well for you! Best of luck! I will pray for you! 😊

I had my surgery yesterday morning and I am still in the hospital. The first 9 hours after waking up were extremely painful and rough, not gonna lie. However, I have been feeling awesome ever since then! You will be fine! Take care, my prayers are with you! 😊

Sorry, i know i am late! I had my surgery on 5/6! First couple days weren’t too bad! Prepare to stay more than one night in hospital because some doctors require it if you haven’t passed gas! Thankfully mine did not! Remember to walk walk walk after surgery! The gas pain is unreal! No one could have prepared me for it! So walk it out! Once i got home it was a little harder for me. For one i am a side sleeper. I am still laying on the couch bc i cannot lay flat or on a certain side. But i hear this gets better with time and everyone is different! I still struggle with getting the right amount of Water and Protein in! At first just the sight or smell of food made me want to throw up, but not i am hungry but it is still hard to get them down because i feel so full constantly! Also, the feeling of not pooping for 6 days is completely weird lol! I had to have the doctor order me some Miralax to help my process along quicker! Prayers for yall who are having surgery this month! It’s been rough but i know will be worth it!
Thank you so much for the surgery testimony! I am currently in my hospital room, my surgery is in 30 minutes. 😊

First of all. CONGRATS! Second. Breathe! Make sure you have comfy clothes, non slip slippers and FOLLOW DOCTORS ORDERS. also. If you ever have to cough or sneeze after surgery. Use a pillow and place it over your stomach beforehand. It will help. Also, ask them for a binder. It's like a girdle. It will become your best friend during recovery. LET US KNOW HOW YOU DO!

I'm actually sipping on my clearfast, getting ready for this. After all it wasn't that bad,not able to eat. I don't like hospital, therefore I only packed my backup charger my headset, my going home dress, my underwear, my abdomen binder... I'm ready. Good luck to all of you, we can do this [emoji119]

What are you taking to the hospital? Surgeon told me I would only be there overnight.

I am taking some comfy pajamas, under garments, chargers, headphones, a face mask and, a face cream. I am also bringing some other random essentials. I packed for two nights (even though I, most likely, will only be there for one night). 😊
