pretty much 99%. I met my out of pocket maximum before surgery but I had other medical stuff throughout the year. So by the time surgery came I paid like $640 which was the hospital stay. i used the rest of my HSA money to pay for that.
I had CIGNA PPO Premium

Whats up guys? Seems everyone is doing well. I cannot believe its been 10 weeks! I am working out at the gym 4x a week now. Weight is rolling slowly but I am happy (or trying to be).
Best of Luck! Keep at it!

I am 8 weeks out and my plan says I am on phase 5. But I am sticking with some soft foods and moving slowing to other foods. I did have a half of grapefruit because I am craving it. I never ate grapefruit pre-op lol. I'm also into grilled mushrooms, again didnt really eat that before surgery.
The weight is moving a lil faster because I started working out. I also have increased my Protein. I am using the Isopure banana cream. you can have two scoops and its 50 grams of protein.
Hope everyone is staying focus and giving the scale a big FU

I was able to have PB 1 mo post op. My nutritionist recommends it b/c of the Protein. And I have been having it!

We are so used to being heavy and staying home all the time that now that we are smaller, getting out seems out of the norm. We are not going to meet anybody going to work and going home everyday and no where else.
I created a meetup just for this reason. It did it last year when I started this journey. Granted it is a female meetup but it gets me out of the house, not thinking about food (but wine lol), and not thinking about being single. There is a good chance I can meet someone in person (hot man) at one of our events. Also since surgery I have started planning more healthy evens like Salsa dance lessons, hiking. etc.
I have also made actual friends from this meetup who are now supporting me post surgery. I am not going to lie it was challenging to attend my own Meetup lol. I am not a social butterfly as I am introverted but getting off the couch will help me keep this weight off FOR Good!

I hit my 3 month stall and the scale hasn't moved for 3 weeks now. I'm still eating between 500 and 800 calories a day. I hit my Protein goal every day and I have significantly upped my Water intake to 100-120 oz a day now. I mountain hike 5 miles at a time, 3 times a week and do yoga twice a week. I know it will come off. It has to. It does get frustrating though. But I'm a tortoise not a hare; I will finish strong not fast.
Thanks GreenTealael
Xoxoxoand the inches will come off to help you get into smaller sizes. I also upped my Protein last week. I was avg 65-80. I am up to 95.

Good Luck everyone 💚

Hey SLs so the scale didn't budge today. However instead of being sad I went shopping in my closet! The cute outfits I have from 10 yrs ago fit again and some are too big.
This process is everything remember that. The scale isn't our only indicator.
Woo!

Now that I can do the elliptical, I am hoping to start losing more. I am satisfied with my current loss even though its slow. I have lost more inches than anything. I was a tight 22/24 and I can fit into an 18/20 and 22/24's are too baggy.
Great thread btw!

Thanks for the skinnytaste suggestion! I am loving this site!

I know this cannot be said enough but Water, Protein, walking. It's the key. I will admit protein is challenging but its key to losing!
