My surgery date was also the 11thI am 5'7 and weighed 357 on surgery day (March 11) it's now been almost three weeks. I am down to 322. I can most definitely tell you that those first two weeks were absolute hell. I was feeling regret the moment I came out of anesthesia. The pain was just so unbearable. I ended up in the ER a day after being released from the hospital because I was in so much pain. BUT... things did get better and as of now I just feel sore. I am almost to the pureed stage. I am so sick of drinking my meals. In all honesty I'm not feeling super positive about this decision. I just want to feel like myself and I just feel blah. I don't mean at all to discourage you or scare you. This is just my story. Best of luck and a quick recovery.

I drink pop again now, I love Coke Zero but I keep it to one or two a week and I usually have to do fountain drinks because it’s less fizzy.
How soon after surgery did you take your first drink?

Only not mojo lol autocorrectI looked through this thanks I have a question I'm also on the Premier Protein but they feel extremely thick and make a lot of mucus in my mouth did you have this problem? Maybe it's the milk in it, any way to fix that problem? I was mojo able to drink half of one shake before it made my stomach upset

So I logged it all down in this thread! Take your mind off your head hunger and read through this journal to see when I started eating. [emoji6]

I'm having this same problem and am also 7 days today this morning I tried some yogurt it went down easily and tasted great but I really paid for it afterward the only liquid that I'm able to drink enough of without feeling so so thirsty is those little caprisun packets

My incision pain is bearable I have eight gashes all at healing well just a bit sore when I searched for reasons for fast pulse a lot of places talked of a leak and now that has me worried, I don't get winded just sitting down but even walking to the kitchen I can feel my heart beat a lot faster

One thing I found extremely useful were a pack of tiny 2 ounce solo cups to take your medication and drinks with, I was having a hard time taking tiny sips and measuring my liquid intake those came in handy
