I haven't seen you here before - welcome!
Man, I really wish I had all the answers you're looking for, but really I'm just muddling through -- getting some stuff right and other stuff wrong -- just like everyone else.
I've had some issues with hunger and I've 'grazed' and eaten when I shouldn't. I'm by no means perfect, so every now and then I sit down and look through what I should be eating and make a plan to try to get back on track. (That being said, yesterday I had honey-roasted nuts for lunch! Not the greatest choice. Doh!)
Do you have the support of a nutritionist? And/or a psychologist? Might be good to seek some advice and support from people with the right skills/knowledge. This is our shot to turn things around, it's up to us to make the most of it.
Wishing you success! ❤️
Thanks EmzBee for your reply. I agree we have to make the best out of this. I took the lap band for granted and after 8 years old habits started creeping back and I ended up gaining most of the weight back. Now that I have a second chance on this I am willing to fight for it. I met my surgeon today and he actually suggested that I join a support group with a psychologist.

Hello everyone,
So I had my surgery on 2/21/2019 which is almost 3 months ago. I lost 7 pounds on pre op diet and after surgery, I lost exactly 30 pounds since then. today I weigh 225 pounds. My surgery was revision from lap band to gastric sleeve so my surgeon told me to expect weight loss at a slower rate than patients who only had the gastric sleeve. Yet following everyone here I feel that I am way behind on the weight loss. I think it is because I feel hungry all the time and that is why I am not able to eat as healthy as I should. I am going to see my surgeon tomorrow. What is the deal with this hunger and how do I get over it?

Hello everyone,
I had my surgery on Feb 21 and I feel that I am recovering well. the thing is I feel hungry all the time and I think that I am able to eat more than I should although the portions are less than before surgery. I really don't want to ruin this as this is my second weight loss surgery. I had my lap band converted to gastric sleeve. I lost 17 pounds from the day of surgery and the weight loss has slowed down a lot. last week I only lost one pound. I would appreciate any advice you have for me.
