I wish I had a pic of before original surgery lapband where highest was 227 in 2009. I will find one . But for this part of my journey revision after band complications I was 188 and was starting to feel pain in my whole body. I know my pics are nowhere as dramatic as most. But I can tell my body hurts less. 25 to 30 pounds before I am no longer over weight according to charts .

    First two are before

Rest after about month I am starting to feel my dorky self. IMG_0689.JPG Image1522259085.605733.jpg 20160527_065819.jpg 20160527_084608.jpg 20160527_084635.jpg

I can't believe it, almost a year ago I was 316 pounds. I was nervous, and eating every horrible and unhealthy meal I thought I would never be able to eat again because I knew I was about to change my life on December 14, 2016.

I was sleeved on 12/14/16 and it was truly one of the best life decisions I ever made. It was not easy, from being in and out of the ER due to dehydration in my early stage.. barely being able to eat anything besides liquids/apple sauce for 2 months.. to now being able to eat honestly anything, just with Portion Control. I'm well known on social media, and people always ask me what do I eat, what should they eat, did I get additional surgery etc.. even on here as I try to respond to all messages I tell everyone the same thing: My journey will NOT be yours. We are all different, we are individuals and our bodies are all different. My experience was deff not easy but yes I love my results. If you are questioning getting sleeved, do your research and then say YES. I was so nervous about getting sleeved, I researched for months before I started the process. I'm so glad I turned my life around. I am literally crying as I type this because I am so happy. food no longer controls my life, I do. The best feeling is self love and happiness... I was always confident but now I truly feel happy. 100%. And my journey is not even over yet, it just began.

I will post pics because the few friends I have on here always ask lol! Love you guys. And I love all my sleevers. emoji173.png

Feels like its taking forever to lose weight but it is more than what I would have lost has I not had the sx. I'm happy and more active. I have lost A LOT of my thick curly hair but heeeeey, I can buy some if it gets too thin! lol

40yo 6’5” and currently at 255lbs after gastric sleeve in Sept 2018. Started at 345lbs. Weight plateaued about 6 weeks ago but working hard at the gym and feeling good. Looking for advice on training but also fun to read everyone’s stories.

Currently eating 2000 “clean” calories per day and lifting heavy 3 days per week.

  5. I'm 51 years old, I'm 5'9, I weigh 252 lbs., my bmi 38.19, I have sleep apena, GERD and I have a Hiatal Hernia. I just finished my first nutrition class, so I'm still in the early stages. What I would like to know if there is anyone with some the same diagnosis that have and will gastric bypass surgery help me?
