    Fear of being thin

Congratulations!!! So glad everything is going well. Now just rest and take it slow I am 5 days post op and my stomach hurts some times when I drink too. like it is stuck at the opening. then goes away. I'm hungry most of the time which concerns me, but the pain is managed well with Tylenol and Advil. It just takes so long to take all the pills. . . an hour to get it all in (Tylenol is liquid, but the Advil is not). I've been averaging 80+grams of protein a day thanks to GenPro ( https://smile.amazon.com/GENEPRO-Musclegen-Research-Flavorless-Certified/dp/B00K6OSDYA/ref=sr_1_5?_encoding=UTF8&hvadid=174268468981&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9033569&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=14981272652004684345&hvtargid=kwd-12063637423&keywords=genpro&qid=1552331291&s=gateway&sr=8-5&tag=googhydr-20&th=1 ) But i'm still hungry. Also using GenPro with shakes from Optavia which have 11 - 14 grams of protein and are 8 oz has really been a great solution... they taste great and the variety provides some great options.

    Fear of being thin

Thank you! I am 5 days post op and surprised at how hungry I feel most of the day. I'm sticking to my 1 ounce per 15 minutes of liquid and topping out at 80+ grams of protein a day, and I still feel hungry. Does this subside? I've not weighed myself intentionally so I can focus on something other than the scale, but I do not feel as though any change has happened yet. I will weigh in on Wednesday and then not again until my 3 week post op appointment on the 28th. I'm trying to stay positive....

    Fear of being thin

I am home resting. Pain is manageable. Sleepy but trying to balance awake time and sleep time.all seems to be ok. Drinking the one ounce is interesting because I get pain in my stomach but it subsides quickly. I'm looking forward to getting some energy back soon. Vomiting Vitamins

I like the chewable BariatricAdvantage vitamins. Might try these or a different brand. That could help. Sent from my SM-G960U using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. I've heard this theory as well. I wonder if this subsides though. Sounds like it does.
  22. Interesting experience. I hope that levels out for you. I'm scheduled for surgery on the 6th and have been concerned about these types of changes as well. Keep us posted on whether it improves or not.

    March Sleevers

I am scheduled for March 6th and the fear is setting in... will it work, will I starve, will I be able to maintain the recommended diet, will my tastes change, will I still crave cake and buttered popcorn... the list is growing by the minute.

    Surgery date

I am scheduled for March 6th... And I'm starting to get nervous. I worry I will not transition into the new habits, I worry I will lose all of my hair, and I worry I won't lose any weight.... bundle of worries here.
