I am feeling ya both.. I stalled out and I know that I am not doing what I should be, I am doing much better than I was before the surgery but I know I am not counting and such I do measure while at home but not while out. I do snack since my nutritionist said I could have 1 a day... but I usually have 2 but they are fruit or nuts nothing too awful.

Been doing well I guess .. I suck at Protein intake and Water intake and miss coffee:( of all things that my body decided not to tolerate it ended up being coffee!!!

I started at my HW 242 and my CW is 145 so not too bad I go for my 9 month visit on the 22nd so we will see what they say:)

That’s great!! I am down 71 pounds as of this morning. I don’t feel so weighted down by the extra weight. Having fun doing things I couldn’t do with my 11 yr old son:)

Thank you all... I’ve turned to Protein Water and no shakes for now. I did buy the flavorless whey and will add that in again soon. I am losing slowly now I know it’s lack of gym and maybe lower protein and water intake but gonna keep trying!! Hope you all are doing well:)

Slow loser here... since last weigh in I have lost 38 pounds which really seem like it should be more:(

Been a while since I posted, nice to read all the updates. I had my sleeve done on 4/9 and so far weight loss is 26 pounds from that morning:) I am still on mushy food until June 12 not that I am watching the calendar very closely lol.. But I have noticed that I can not eat a full 2oz like they say.. Does anyone else have this issue? I can get 1/2oz - maybe a little over an ounce but by then my stomach is so uncomfortable I know it is time to stop. I am having a hard time with the Protein I am now at the point every time I start to drink one I want to puke.

Hey everyone, thought I would check in. Had my RNY at Toronto Western hospital on April 8th, was released the next day. I seem to be doing pretty well. I'm tolerating most liquids. I've been pretty much sticking to Protein smoothies, smooth cream Soups, Premier Protein, V8, no sugar added pudding/jello/icecream. I sometimes change up the fruit or the Soup but at this point I just want to get past the liquids and start to incorporate more variety so I am keeping it simple until then. On Thursday I should be able to start pureed stage for two weeks then soft foods. I don't have any pain from my surgery. I get some discomfort if I am overdoing it a little and have to go rest. It takes me all day but I end up getting about 4 cups of liquids and 80-85g Protein at this point. I've been taking an electrolyte supplement as my urine is still a bit dark and I think that helps. My steri strips haven't fallen off yet. I'm getting all my Vitamins in as well and doing some light walking everyday. My weight stalled a week after surgery but it seems to be moving again now. From my pre-op diet until now I've lost 25lbs in about 3-4 weeks.

I am utterly tired of all Protein ahhhh... can’t wait until May 1 for some mushy food!! Sweet Jesus let time pass quickly 🤣🤣. Best of wishes to you all!!

UPDATE: had my first post op appt today. I was sleeved 4/8. Surgery weight was 225, today was 210. Down 15lbs. The body analysis shows that was mainly Fluid loss, but doctor said that’s normal. He cleared me to start purées stage Saturday. Never in my life have I ever looked so forward to mashed potatoes or scrambled eggs!! 1 more day of liquid. Water still a struggle. I used to drink 80-100 ounces a day, now 40-50 is about all I can manage on top of the Protein Shakes, broth and yogurt. My doctor said it will get easier in a couple more weeks when the stomach swelling goes down. Hope you all are doing well on your journey. Feel free to ask me anything! We went out for dinner and I had some split pea Soup. It was so good. Having something with real flavor was fantastic!!!!! I will be happy once I get to the soft foods stage, but that’s not until 5/8 or so for me.

My follow up is actually the 24th as well, I will find out then about moving on to pureed food and get the thumbs up for the mushies the week after!! Praying because I am actually getting hungry for something other than: broth, Water, Jello, Protein repeat repeat repeat omg!!

2 days after I came home I made the mistake of getting on the scale and it said 235, from all the fluids and such

Weighed myself today and it said 221:)

I am only able to wear sports bras and still very uncomfortable wearing pants so I am living the sweatpants life. My surgeon told me that I could go back to work Monday but my job won't let me back without a dr note UGH.. so I have to wait for my follow up on Weds. I am still on a liquid diet and can't go to thicker Fluid until next week then a week after that I can finally go to mushy food and I have to stay on that for 6 weeks:(
