  1. I think Tracey is crazy, but I lost is when she said "This isn't kindergarten. It's not like I stole your crayons or something!" when everyone was sobbinbg about the teams being split up!

I will give her props she knows how to play the game. That is why she is there and she makes no bones about it!

Saying all that I still can't stand her or for that matter Shay, Rebecca or Amanda..all they do is cry and bit@h!

My fave is Abby! Then Daniel.

  2. Oh Tracey makes me sick. She is nuts. I just want to know how she lost 4 without working out! I bet she would go up and down the stairs at the house saying it was just a normal part of her day. I don't care for the pink team either. There is just something about them..a little to bitchy as far as I am concerned.

I still like Daniel and I like the green team.

    Becky

  3. I agree with everyone about Tracey. Wow, what a piece of work! She is just plain crazy!:) She will be gone soon...next week hopefully!!

I don't like the Pink team either. Something about those 2 just makes me nuts!

    I don't have a fave right now.

  4. Here in Tennessee we had something similar to the health care reform that Obama is wanting to pass. It was called TennCare. The cost was astromomical. The state is broke despite the 9.75% sales tax we are charged on everything we buy. Our sales tax was raised to help pay for TennCare. Our dem gov Phil Bredesen who by the way was a health care exec said that we as a nation CAN NOT afford this to pass the way it is drafted now. TennCare is no longer in existence. The rolls of recipients have been cut and the program pared down. (TennCare was drafted by a rep gov Don Sundquist and a dem Gov Ned Ray McWorter. So this is not to say it is one parties fault or the other. Both are responsible for the mess we are in now!)

And yes Bredesen was and still is a big supporter of Obama!

If people who work in the health care industry are saying that the cost is not sustainable don't you think we need to listen to them?

This should not be Dem vs Repubs. Last time I checked it was United States of America not United States of Dems or United States of Repubs.

If we can't afford it we can't afford it despite who is in office at the moment.

  5. I am all for everyone having health care, but why are we rushing this. Can't we pay for what the hell we have charged up before we add to it. (or at least most of it)

Work the kinks out of this (and I am sure there are some) and then bring it back to us.

Hell why not get a cross section of the country and ask them what they want and need..not what you think we need. I know..I know..very naive.

I get very leery of things when they are rushed. I feel like I am not getting the whole truth. I think this is how the country is feeling right now.

  6. I just worry that if it sounds good most buy into it without really looking deeper into what we are hearing. I call it the "pied piper" mentality. It is on both sides of the aisles. It happened under Clinton, Bush I and II and now under Obama. Doesn’t matter what party or what name you want to put on it. There is a cost for everything that the Government does.

The question is can we afford it? What are we going to have to give up?

  7. A friend of mine just went to trade her Ford van in and was told that even though the van is eligible she is unable to trade because she still owes on the van. She owes $1500 and would have recieved $4500. That is just part of the "fine print" that we are not being told about. The way this was advertised was if it was registered to you and was insured for over a year it could be traded. She had even researched the program on line and no where was that even mentioned.

  8. Good Luck Beth! I too am going back to school to finish what I started many many years ago! I was told that I have about 18 months and I will be done with my B.S in Elem Ed. My husband thinks I am nuts to want to still teach..lol.

  9. Has anyone in the Congress or Senate read the Health Care bill? I doubt it. I don't know about y'all but I was taught from an early age not to sign anything unless I read the fine print.

I just have this feeling that once this is done and we the people find out about all of the "fine print" we are gonna be PO'd.

Oh it sounds nice! This redoing of the nations health care to make it more affordable and available to everyone..but a used car sales man can make a lemon sound like a Mercedes if you listen to him long enough.

Why is there such a hurry to do this? Why can't we fix the economy first and get people back to work and then tackle health care. Who's gonna pay for it if alot of us are out of work?

  10. My main gripe about this whole political BS is someone is always coming up with an idea..one party jumps on it like it is an answered prayer..the other hates the whole damn thing yet neither party has read the thing through and can not tell you what is in it. They can only spout off bits and pieces!

Why are we in such an all fire hurry to pass anything?

I am so sick of hearing "we must pass this now"! Why?

What are you the politician getting out of it?

For the record I am an independent!

  11. Don't you just hate it when the him and haw about it! I was told by this company that when they "reopen" the position that I will be the first one they call back for another interview. At this point I am not going to hold my breath! I am looking for something else.

  12. sitting back & keeping quiet about ALL addictions.

why - in MO, because if he tried to help or get help for michael he would have been cut off fiancially. MJ supported way too many people that had a vested interest in keeping quiet on many issues, not just drugs.

You may be right on that! I really don't believe we will ever know the real truth about any of it for the simple fact of $$.

It is just sad to me that the people in his life cared more about the $$ than they did about him.

  13. i still find it strange a grown man felt it appropriate to share his bed w/children that wasn't his own.

whether something happened or not - he sure set himself up for impropriety to be inferred.....and if your livlihood is your reputation, like his drug addiction - maybe no one could have helped him & his infatuation w/small kids......

I don't disagree with you that it was strange. The point that I am trying to make is some of his family (Jermaine) is saying that he has always had Michael's back and been his mouth piece..well dude where where you when he started to spiral down hill? Drugs do crazy things to people..things that in their right minds they would not normally do. (I know this from family members that were addicted to Meth)

I am not saying nothing happened..I don't know for sure....all I am saying is I am just surprised there was not more that came forward when all of it broke.

  14. Ok..just venting here!:crying:! I had 3..yep 3 interviews with the same company with in a week and a half. Just found out that they have decided not to fill the position due to the economy. They will keep my application on file (HR told me that I am the top candidate) and when they decide to interview again they will call me. For the love of Pete...after 3 interviews already why do have have to go through all of it again! lol

    Ok..done ranting..feel better now!!

  15. So for the people who think he was guilty of molestation, what do you think about one of the boys now saying that it didn't happen? Just wondering.

If the boys are saying now nothing happened then I think there needs to be some type of investigation of the parents.

Not sure if it is proven to have been a scam to get money if there can be any legal ramifications or not.

Bottom line is if it happened then it runied two boys lives...if it didn't then the two boys and their parents ruined Michael Jacksons life. Either way it is sad.

I don't know what happened..I do think that it is strange that only two out of hundreds came forward to say that they were molested. One would think that there would have been more if he was doing that..again..MHO..for which I am sure some will disagree.

  16. lol - They love him. I don't. Why is it such an issue?

    :crying:

Good question for which I don't have an answer. I don't believe that we have to get all bent out of shape over varing opinions on a particular subject. None of us posting here that I am aware of knew Michael Jackson personally. Was he a large part of my growing up years..yes...do I feel a connection to him through his music..yes...but that is all.

I happen to like his music and the fact he as an awesome entertainer (MHO). What saddens me is over the years to watch his decline from what he was in the 70-early 90's to what he was in the last decade of his life. No one really tried to intervene and help...all he was and to this day still is...a cash cow..again my opinion only.

As far as the sexual molestation...no one in the public really knows for sure..will we ever with 100% certainty.. probably not. All I can say is this..if it is true then he has to answer for it and if it is not then the ones who falsely accused him have to answer for it (If you believe in God..which I do).

I will say that it did appear that something happened..but again that is my opinion.

  17. I can't believe that I have sat here for 2 hours and have read all of these posts!!

I am a MJ fan! I loved his music and loved to watch him dance. I hated to watch what he had become over the last 10 or so years.

Do I think he was guilty? Since I don't know with 100% certainty I have to say...probably he was..but we will never know for sure.

Was he a freak..I would rather say that he was unbalanced mentally and emotionally.

Do I understand why some people dislike him ( I hate the word hate..lol)..yeah I do.

  18. To me he looked like he was just beaten down. I am not saying what he is "accused" of is right by no means. I just don't think he feels like he is much of a man due to her constant belittling of him.

I think she feels so superior to him and damn sure lets him know it!

I really don't think the marriage is going to make it nor do they seem like they really care.
