My 10 day liver shrinking pre op diet starts tomorrow. It’s hard to believe I will having my revision surgery in 9 days. I am so ready to get it done and start living my new life. I have my shakes, crystal light mixes, sugar free jello and broths ready for the work day tomorrow! I usually do well throughout the day until 3pm ish when I start feeling that head hunger. I’m telling myself to keep busy at work because when I am busy I don’t even think about eating! Wish me luck!

I am April 4th. Sleeve to MGB revision. BariatricPalMX with Dr. Illan. Can’t say I am nervous. More anxious about leaving my one year old twins for a few days. I’ve never been away over night so it’s going to be hard on me as a mom. Needs to be done though.

Y’all, my pre op liquid diet starts in exactly 2 weeks! I am not nervous just really excited. I know it’s going to be hard but I was ready for surgery a month ago, lol. I guess I am just happy to know change is coming!

OMG, Marc! How cool. I live in the Austin area but will be flying out of Houston. My family lives in East Texas so I will be bringing my kiddos to hang out with them while I am gone. My Aunt will be going with me. Where are you coming from? Will you be bringing a companion? We will have to stop and say hello. Are you planning on doing any of the tours?

I am currently pre op but I started at 342 lbs. My lowest was actually 186 but then some health issues, twin pregnancy and depression (I lost my father who I was extremely close to) got me back up to 285 in the past 4 years. I got to 186 without surgery but just couldn’t stay there. My body has Yoyo’d so much. About a year and a half ago I went from 286 to 229 and then skyrocketed back up to 285 after conceiving twins. My surgery is scheduled for 4/4/19 and I couldn’t be more excited.

I plan on starting my pre op diet this week. Probably even tomorrow.

Curious, did anyone start their pre op diet early?

I start my pre-op diet on March 25th! My twins 1st birthday is 2 days before that. Pretty good timing I suppose. Lol. March is a busy month for me so I am hoping if I stay busy it’ll fly by!

Looks like we are mostly shooting for a 100 lb or so weight loss. I think it's definitely obtainable! I actually have about 110 to get to my goal weight of 175 and Ive thought about 165, as well. So Max 120 lbs. I am just really excited to get this done. 39 days until I leave for my surgery but who is counting? LOL

Hi, I just thought it would be cool to have others in the same month! It’s all good :) I don’t plan to take off but a few days for work. I can just not lift heavy stuff. I am anxious for my time to get here! Susie, I hope you get it for April! Keep me updated if you can. I’ll give an update, as well!
