I stopped wearing mine for about 6 months and then finally had them resized when I was close to goal. Looks perfect.

I'm 3 days from a year and like some of you have been stalled for a bit but I'm down 42 for the year and 82 overall so I guess that is OK. Still hoping for the century accomplishment but the scale has bounced on the same 3-4 lbs for months now so I suspect my only hope is a lot more exercise.

My NUT asks that her patients not drink Protein Water (or shakes) after the first 2 months because it keeps you from learning new eating habits.
It also becomes a way for calories to sneak in later. You think you are doing something healthy but then you end up consuming 1500-1800 caloriesGreenTealael reacted to this -
Agreed plateau is the wrong word completely, I’m in maintenance which terrifies me because I really do not want to regain. My NUT keeps telling me I eat too little but honestly I doubt that is true. I think I’m missing some calories somewhere and my micros are skewed. Back to basics I guess. I also need to add some more exercise.
Thanks all.ProudGrammy reacted to this -

Jan 26 - Feb 1 average calories was 1221 which is pretty consistent for me and what the NUT has said to target. Still seems too high but then again there are days I’m over that even.
I can see my fats are too high as are my carbs. My next thing to try is replace 1-2 meals a week consistently with fish or seafood and switching one of my Snacks from almonds or cashews to hard boiled egg whites. I found the nuts too yummy so it seems best to remove the temptation.
Targets
45% Protein
30% fat
25% carbs

I lost 40# before and 40# which is all great but I’d really like to lose 30-40 more. I have no problem going slow but I’ve been plateaued since 6 months post-surgery.
I’ve tried everything I can think of
eating more (NUT recommended 1200-1300 cal)
eating less (900-1000 cal)
focusing on Protein (60-100g)
eating more balanced (33% - 33% - 33%)
Nothing has worked! I’m just stuck gaining and losing the same 4lbs since end of August.

600-900 seems rather low but I guess I could try that next. I’ve managed to lose a few pounds the past month only to see it bounce back in the past two days. I’m about to start adding some biking to my daily routine and am hoping that kicks my metabolism into high gear again for a while.
