Oh the places you'll go!
I know the feeling. You want to go experience fun things but know you're body is going to make you pay a price for it. After the fun comes debilitation. It's going to be so nice to be lighter on our feet!

Considering changing doctors for surgery
I'm sorry you're going through this. With Coumadin it is so important to have the numbers right, that to have them written on a sticky note would be a very big red flag to me. To me that's an "attention to detail" type of medication and if he's so nonchalant about that, how's he going to be about your operation? Also I'm sure if the office tech has treated you like she did she's probably treated others the same and has had some complaints filed against her. If that's the case it doesn't seem like he's handling that situation very well either.

Oh the places you'll go!
I do the same thing. It's sad but I'm just too self conscious. I can't wait to be comfortable in my own skin again and enjoy life to the fullest.

Pompeii is incredible. I've done Dunns River Falls in Jamaica but I had to look up Dinoflagelletes. That sounds fun.

hunger pains less than 2 weeks post op?
I do have LESS physical hunger but hunger never went away for me like some say it does. It is much easier to push through to the next meal than it was before surgery. I do have to have willpower to do it. The great thing about the surgery is that even though some of us still get hungry we can only eat a small amount. It is a great tool!

Oh the places you'll go!
I've never been to either place and yes shopping and looking good in pictures for once would be great!!!

Oh the places you'll go!
Traveling has always been my passion. But the last five years, because of my weight, I've picked less strenuous more leisurely places to go to. I can't wait to eventually get out and do some type of physically active traveling like hiking Machu Picchu. So my question is to all my fellow travel lovers, what are your future travel bucket lists once you get to your healthy weight?

Plateau for last 4+ years
You don't have to starve yourself, deprive yourself or excersize to loose weight. The "clean eating" diet plan doesn't work for everyone and sets some individuals up for thinking they're a failure if they don't. We all don't fit into the same box. Maybe a diet plan like IIFYM that allows you to have treats like a doughnut without feeling guilty would be best for you.

For those eating under 1000 calories

How long do I have to take Actigall/Ursodiol?
Thanks! I was hoping it wouldn't be that long but I guess it's better to be safe than sorry. They just seem to mess up my digestive system

How long do I have to take Actigall/Ursodiol?
My Dr. put me on Actigall a week after surgery because I still have my gallbladder. I forgot to ask them how long I would have to be on it. Is there a certain time period you're on it after surgery or is it determined by how much weight you still have to loose?
