I just checked out your slide show and wow what a difference! You look wonderful and very happy! I am just getting my journey started. I am almost 2 months post op and have lost 48 lbs! You are definately an inspiration! Keep up the great work!

Hi mshooper, I have read your blog and I am just alittle over a month out. I am glad I made this decision. I am going to have my first fill on July 31st and I am so excited about that! I feel so bad for you and the money situation and the so called friends. I still think you should confront them, that is just not right. I am a Christian also, but I am sure you worked hard for that money. Just my input! have a great day!

Thanks for introducing yourself to me at the support group meeting tonight. It is nice to put a face with someone on this website! Congrats on just having your surgery and doing so well. When we see each other next month we will both be thinner! LOL If you need anything just ask, I might not have the answer but I bet I can find it for you! Ronda

I am doing well! In that Lap band limbo stage waiting for the first fill so I can feel restriction. I lost 10 lbs since surgery and have maintained that since. I am eating regular food now with no restriction at all, so to maintain is great! I get my first fill on July 31st.

I would have liked to stay over night really. I would have gotten a little more rest. I am at work today, first day back and it has been a little difficult but I am working through the pain! AND YES WE DID IT!

So how was your surgery experience? Mine was short and sweet! In and out in 5 hours and 45 mins.! YEAH

Hey Miss Kathy! Are you getting excited about our June 18th surgeries? I am.. how are you handling the liquid diet. I think I have lost around 12 lbs and 5 inches just in 6 days... too exciting. Check out my new blog The Long Road to the NEW ME!!!
