  1. This is most helpful, THANK you! I’m going to give these lil cups a try today. I can’t stomach this Premier Protein drink but I’m freezing it and trying it that way today as well and mixing in the tasteless kind into my cream of wheat and broth. If this all works I’ll be good! Yes, we got this and we are worth it[emoji779]️
I got burned out on the premier shakes and switched to GNC lean shakes..they have 25grams of Protein. The strawberry is pretty good.

  2. I had my sleeve done on December 26th, 2018. I've been doing really well I think. Only thing that's weird is I get these pains in my stomach when I drink. It's like my stomach tightens up. Anyone have this?? Only drinking Water and a Protein Shake here and there. I dont feel like eating broth.

I am 9 days post op..water had been difficult to drink..broth goes down very well. Water is easier if something else is added in with the water like caffeine free crystal light. Or Protein water or Decaf tea

  3. Closet shopping has been a big help to me. I had lots of clothes in smaller sizes I had forgotten about as well. I have a storage room full of more from my smaller days so I’ll be good for awhile. But if I buy anything new, it’s from Walmart!

The hardest part has been bras for me. I’ve lost a lot of boob and have no idea what my size is anymore. I’m still large enough where my bras are expensive though. [emoji24]
I get sized at Dillards and Dillard's on line I think have Cabernet bra's 2 for $40
.that's abt the cheapest I can find

  4. I’m doing great. Had my 2 week post op visit yesterday and everything is all good. Went to the gym this morning and I’m feeling great.

How is it going for you? I know the liquids are no fun! I Just moved to blended/purées for the next two weeks. Can’t be over soon enough. Lol.
Good you are able to go to the gym already. My stomach is still a little sore. Can't wait to go to the gym. Yea still on liquids..excited for soft food next week. I have been on pinterest looking at a bunch of soft food recipes I want to try.

I am very nauseous today for some reason.

  5. I have read that fertility often spikes post-surgery (especially when you have PCOS like I do.) However, I am not on the plan to have children and I'm trying to consider my next steps. I'd like to reach out to my gyno and see about birth control options. I was on the pill before, but I am a little curious about the arm implant and the IUD. What has been everyone's experience?
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY MIRENA IUD. I got my first one 12 years ago after I had my oldest and then was in grad school
When I graduated 3yrs later I had it removed and got preggo with my twins..since then I had another MIRENA put back in..my twins are 8 now..I have never had a period while on the Mirena. Insertion is a little painful but bearable. I dont have to remember to take a pill..the strings at first were a little long and (ex) hubby could fell them so my dr trimmed the string..perfect ever since[emoji4]

  6. Hi guys, I had surgery on December 17th. Im really struggling with my blood pressure dropping really low anytime im up. Im also very dizzy and weak. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks and merry Christmas!

I had surgery 12/20 and my pressure has been on and off again low..my doctor already took me off of my blood pressure meds. I try to get my fluids in which is so hard. Set a timer for every 15mins..to take small sips..This is my favorite Protein Water cause I cant stomach the shakes yet.IMG674127517061181894.jpeg

  7. I'm have a time with the choices of Soups that will help me through my 2 weeks PO sleeve. I have been drinking low sodium chicken broth, no sugar popsicles and Jello, Gatorade, Water, and Protein Shakes. I was wondering if I added Tomato Soup, in there to give myself a different choice, would it be wise? Another thing how do you take down the 64 ozs without feeling too full. #POSLEEVEDAY5 #DOWN9LBS

  8. So, this morning I needed to make a trip to the grocery store and I pulled on a pair of jeans.
I took two steps out of my bedroom and the jeans fell down and pooled around my feet. I started crying. Happy tears, not sad. Those jeans used to fit me pretty snug, and now they are so loose that they won't stay up. I never thought my clothes would be too big on me and it was a bit of a reality check for me making me realize that I'm getting healthier and I'm actually doing it.
I just want to know, did you guys start buying more clothes right away? I can't really afford to keep buying new clothes every few months, so does anyone else have other alternatives? I work from home so I don't need dressy stuff, just jeans and t-shirts. Good Will? Wal Mart?
    Thanks [emoji4]
Plato's closet is a good place for gently used clothes. I have tons of different sizes and refused to give away my smaller size clothes..can't wait to shop in my closet!

  9. I’m just scared I won’t be able to keep anything down and will be nauseated all the time. And getting dehydrated scares me too. I have anxiety as it is so I worry anyway.

I got sleeved last week and everything went very well. The doctor did a lot to prevent me from getting sick..just pay attention to your body. Take the pain meds.. they put an anti- nausea patch behind my ear and gave me Zofran..which helped a lot. Drink very slow. It's a big adjustment..set a timer for every minutes to drink your fluids to not get dehydrated.
