  1. 85 down! you are doing fantastic. Wow you look younger than 43.
I think most of us think about what our skin will be like after weight loss. Doesn't hurt to try to try things to reduce it a lil. Do they work? IDK.
My loose skin is livable. It was not as bad as I made it out to be in my head. [emoji6]
    Thanks![emoji7]

  4. You look amazing! Keep up the great work! I know holidays can be hard. I was kind of lucky and just beginning foods on Dec 20th, Thanksgiving i had just started puree.. so i was really limited in what i could eat and that is how i got through it. Next year is going to be the true test of willpower when i can eat whatever i want at that time. Hopefully i will have made some very good habits by then and i will have nothing to worry about [emoji4]
Thank you! Ahhh! I know what you mean..I watch alot of youtube bariatric patients that are cooking away with super healthy and yummy bariatric meals. Meal prep is key to stay focused. If it wasnt for that i would totally fail. I sometimes cook for my family without tasting the food (I have them tasting it)lol its crazy but anything to stay focused. In the fridge I have my own section that i fill every wknd with stuff i can eat.

    We got this![emoji6]

  5. My family lives in Texas and i live in Maryland. Back in xmas 2017 i told them i was going to go through WLS. I had to explain what it was about, but i guess they thought.."she wont do it".. Mom,Dad, brother were scared , sister in law, husband and few others very supportive.

I just came to Texas yesterday for xmas and at 5 months post op my fam are blown away.

I showed them my xmas pic from 2017at 298lbs and they are shocked with the difference. I am currently at 224 lbs and I tell them im just getting started and i feel great.

Now about food..lol yes mom is cooking away..meal after meal but i am focused and i only serve my small portions and very selective on what i can eat, I talk more than i eat when before i was the quiet one eating while every one was talking and prob reaching out for a second plate.

Merry Christmas everyone lets stay focused. We can do this!20181224_073511.jpeg

  6. My Doctor said 2 weeks I took 3.
Depends on your job. No heavy lifting. Prevent falls. Depends also on your Surgery recovery experience. Some recover faster than others.
At home you can focus on your recovery/ planned meals at appropriate time. Get ready with meal planning for when you return to work. Set a timer/ meal prep ect. I could of been ready in 2wks because i had no need for pain meds only the 1st day out.
