I’m also going through Baptist East and Dr. Oldham. I went to my seminar in December and have to wait another week for my intake appointment. I like in New Albany, but I’ve lived in Louisville too. It’s so cool to see so many people close by!

I was at that seminar! Did you get called for the all day intake appointment yet? I’m so happy to read all this positive stuff about Dr. Oldham. He seemed like he really cared.

This is the first post I’ve found regarding breastfeeding and wls that wasn’t just full of “you need to wean!” comments! Thank you so, so much pro breastfeeding mamas for reassuring us that we can make this big change for ourselves and still nurse our babies. I’m seeking surgery this year and nursing my 7 month old. I was so sad thinking I might have to stop!

I’m doing this now! I was drinking 5-6 diet cokes per day and knew I needed to stop. I stopped buying Diet Coke altogether because if it’s in the house I will drink it. I found crystal light with caffeine and started with 3 of those at “normal strength” then started adding more water per packet and now I get the equivalent of one Diet Coke per day spread out over 64 oz of water. The flavor is very light and the caffeine content is nominal enough that I think that once I’m out of crystal light I won’t buy any more and just stick with water. It only took me a week to dial it back and I haven’t had any headaches!
