*trying NOT to gag tho!
-
I’m sorry I don’t have any suggestions but I do suffer from the same thing. I do notice that it only happens when I brush the inside of my teeth in the morning. If I brush them late morning or afternoon I don’t have any issues. The thought of not brushing my teeth first thing in the morning is grosser than dealing with trying to to gag tho!

Only a sleep study can confirm, but it sure sounds like you have sleep apnea. I’ve had it for years and I will never forget the morning after my first night at home with my new cpap machine. I felt like a new person and had no idea what I had been missing out on for years!! Cpap is a bit of an inconvenience but it can also change your life. Best of luck to you.

If I remember correctly, after my lap band many years ago, my super heightened sense of smell lasted about 6-7 weeks post op. Like someone else said, mine was most sensitive to breath and I could smell it from across the table! Super bizarre!

Hello. I’m in the preparation stages of having surgery with Dr Vallina who is affiliated with Northwestern Medicine and also DuPage Medical Group. He practices at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield IL. I would absolutely recommend him! During the process of seeing the other doctors for the pre-surgery visits, I’ve been told that he is very highly ranked in the bariatric world and based on my interactions with him, I sincerely believe it. He has a great personality and is very attentive while you’re speaking with him.On 12/11/2018 at 12:21, Keke46304 said:
Hi,
I’m hoping to find some suggestions about Bariatric surgeons that perform the sleeve. It’s difficult to know who is competent and who I should not go to. Any surgeon suggestions in Chicago or Northwest Indiana would be greatly appreciated. Thank YouFrustr8 reacted to this
