  1. Yes, possible, but this is really going through my head now... sleeve possibly would be much better, now I just saw my surgeon he said chances are always here... so hopefully he didn’t just said it... I don’t know... but really I am too nacked to do anything... too much weight lost at the time... I can’t come back to my usual life... I am too weak... ny knees are shaking, allergic reaction all over my body and face... I want to have quality live not the one now where I have to think how to get out of bed or drunk drop of water ciz I am thirsty to the end but If I will I can’t put anything in to my mouth for another half an hour... I don’t know is it just depression but...
  2. I am in hospital now with internal bleeding again... it’s just nightmare
  3. Yes I did. And I was way under required calories for way too long... now I am not fully a week after my phases of liquid and soft food... obviously I am not eating anything super hard yet but more or less solids getting in to me... you can do all the days... just make sure you drink a lot... I know I am not the first one to say, and I know you will deny it for yourself... well this is how I was anyway in denial with understanding how water can help with hunger or so... but now 3rd day I am on the case to get in myself 2 litres of water or tea as I don’t like anything else anyway... and you know what I need to be reminded to eat... but before I felt like I was starving myself to death... honestly... if I am out in town for long and accidentally don’t have water for long enough then I am starting to feel hungry again and I get something to try new or so... but this is how my holiday time goes at the moment... will see how it goes further... so good luck with your diet it, you can definitely do it without fail just try to keep yourself hydrated and see wether it will be better:)

how often were you told to eat

I think you made my day now, I might be coming to realisation that I am on holiday now and while you are on holiday abroad you still eat a bit of a different food and this is how it is isn’t it? I am quite happy with not having dumping Syndrome... now I am more than a month post op... when I am back in a month I will set up my new routine and new diet, now I can and I will enjoy my festive season holiday with my family. I don’t know wether it is my little luck or what but yesterday was my dads bday and I had a tiny slice of cheese cake and all was good as well :) so happy time I am doing well and mood comes back, since my op I’ve lost 23 kg already... waiting for 7th of December to see my surgeon and so he would approve some more physical activity and then I am planing to go to swimming pool:) now I am just walking.. maybe not enough around 3 miles a day but still a bit afraid of that internal bleeding not to happen again 😱

how often were you told to eat

Yes indeed I understand that this is not the point of whole thing to eat junk and stuff... Probably what Inam trying to say is that I am kind of trying to see what can I eat again... I don’t know maybe my brain did not get it yet I don’t know I will definitely learn to eat in different way it’s just now I am at my parents abroad until Christmas so I don’t work and I am not living “normal” life... as well as due to my internal bleeding and all that I am restricted with physical activity until my review wich is planned on 7th of December... and so it is very hard to be outside of your comfort zone in life as well as trying to learn new way of living... so my choice was as I said trying to see what can I eat, what can’t I eat while I am here and when I am back I will set up my diet and so on... it is a bit scary that it won’t be like it used to... and now I find that food doesn’t taste same way? Will it change or is this is my new taste buds now?

    October Bypass

I have posted already in few topics but hey, I had mine gastric bypass on 23of October... now starting my solid food journey on my own as I don’t have nutritionist or something like that.. had some complications with internal bleeding and now drop down in potassium, did not use any protein shakes nor pre op nor after... still feel a bit week but much better, I am more concerned about to get stronger rather that thiner 😂 am I the only one like that here?

how often were you told to eat

So if you can eat 300-600 calories what’s the point of whole operation then? I was told to eat 4-5 meals a day with mor proteins and not more than 200-250ml once... as I am only starting on solids i am a bit lost and unfortunately I don’t have assigned nutritionist or so... so I am just slowly trying all the food that I had before just in smaller quantities? Maybe it is wrong I don’t know I had bypass surgery on 23 of October, but after I had internal bleeding so I am on a bit weaker side still... anyway to be perfectly honest at the moment my bigger concern is to get on normal track and be strong instead of loose weight... this is why I suppose I don’t really look at calories or something like this? Is this is really bad thing? If I have too much?

    Not full and very hungry

Hi there, I am almost a month after bypass surgery, started more or less eating all food, never been on protein shakes just baby food and yoghurts like skyr with more proteins... sometimes i do feel hungry, sometimes I don’t... I did have complications with internal bleeding a few days after I came back home so now have few stuff low down, I obviously suffered with high blood pressure before my surgery now I am 22kg lighter and my blood pressure is good but pulse is very low for whatever reason... anyway It is all very new and strange... even though I am trying already most of “normal” food it feels strange when noone knows or understands so hopefully I can find someone who had op at similar time or before me?)
  9. Right.... let me join you people, I had my surgery on 23rd of October... lost 22kg since... I don’t know wether I am the only one or what but at the moment thinking more of a how to become stronger and so on instead of loosing more... maybe coz I had some messups... complications to be exact... internal bleeding, few collapses, so for first two weeks survived only on Water and drips, then third week baby food and Protein yoghurt (skyr), now already started more solid foods and some raw fruits and veggies... so no Protein Shakes whatsoever... now more or less try everything... I don’t know wether it is right or wrong but this is how I do... twice had light dumping syndrome - once from baby porridge or something that my doctor thought might work for me as it was for sensitive babies but apparently I am not one of them lol and once from something else that I won’t remember but both were just a bit sweating and heart beat raised... nothing else... so I consider myself quite lucky there... potassium level went significantly down so they say this is why I am so weak??? Is anyone else having this? Due to that internal bleeding earlier on I am not allowed any physical activity yet... can’t wait until I will ... does anyone else feels no energy? Have youbsterted on normal food? Or am I running too fast forward??? So strange when you have noone to chat? Thanks anyway I hope everyone will get where they aiming to
