I had one class before and 2 after that are mandatory and it sounds like mine is one of the more strict ones. An example is I’m not allowed to have scrambled eggs until one month post op! I’m 16 days post op and really want some.
1 boiled egg was added to my food list after 2 weeks post op. I can have one with 1 tbsp. of a condiment like lowfat mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc mixed in it. nut said egg is too dry in tummy so add something to it.

I've always been good drinker so drinks are no problem and I can not tell when I am full. I just stop if it feels like it's turning over, but then after a few seconds, it's gone. Is this normal? I don't want to mess up anything, and I'm still on liquids but have a had a few bites of very soft foods.
Mine was the 10TH also. My Dr. said to drink approx. 2 oz every 15 min. so 1 cup in 1 hour. Sipping not gulping. pureed food 2oz. the half hour 3 times aday. Take it slow. I know how u feel about not knowing because sensations are different. Might be more normal feeling in a few more weeks:) Good luck

Had my surgery late Monday afternoon. They let me come home 24 hours later. Today, my first full day has been a little rough. Pain is not too bad, but have had too work at getting fluids in because makes me a tad sick. Just keep plugging away sipping and walking around the house and doing breathing treatment thingy:). I haven't had to take pain meds so far today, but have taken the nausea meds. Dr. said to just try to keep sipping, but not to the point I throw up. It is, after all, only day 1. Keeping things positive!

I was most worried about getting sick after surgery, but was really scared in general

I am on the end of day 4 out of 15 of my liquid diet. I have had headaches for the last 2 days. Sick of Protein Shakes too. Need to get some Jello and low sodium chicken broth. Sure hope this gets a little better:)

Look, I am just starting. Have surgery in like 20 days. We are all gonna screw up. We did before the surgery. You can't feel bad for being human...we all f up. Tomorrow is another day and do your regular eating routine,
.I already know I will make mistakes, but will do my best to compensate for it. Be kind to yourself;)

I have to start a 14 day liquid diet this weekend. How come some are 7 days and others 14? Really nervous about starting.
