Good morning y’all...just came to thank you all for the support and also to share my progress so far.
Almost 9 months pp and down from a size 18/20 to a size 8/10! I am in Brazil because my mother had some serious medical issues and don’t have a scale around but last time I weighed I was 90 lbs down and have 28 more to go to reach my goal.
I am beyond happy!
Hope you’re all doing great! -
Hi everyone...how are you all doing?
I am in Brazil since 04/30 because my mother had a heart attack followed by kidney failure, pneumonia and pulmonary edema ☹️ she was only able to have heart surgery (triple bypass) on 06/25 and is still in the hospital...I’ve been with her in the hospital since I arrived and will stay here until August to help her through recovery...needless to say, I haven’t really paid attention to what I eat and stopped exercising. Still, I managed to lose 16 lbs and am now 83 lbs down with another 35 to go! I started exercising this week and eating better so I can be at my goal weight by the obe year mark! It’s a daunting task but I’ll try my best to get there by 10/30 🤞
Best if luck to you all! -

Good morning everyone
I just took my 6-month pics (although I’ll be 6 months on the 30th) and wanted to share my results with you all.
I lost a total of 71 lbs and 69” overall. Down from size 20 to 12 and pretty damn happy I had this surgery! I still have 47 lbs to lose and intend on reaching my goal weight by October. Even if I don’t reach my goal I am still happy with my results.
Have a great day y’all

Tomorrow is 6 months for me! I’m really happy overall but my hair has started to fall out 😫 anyone have any recommendations on making it stop? I’ve added Biotin to my daily Vitamins.
Other than that, I started at 256 and am down to 180! I haven’t had as much time to exercise lately so I’m stalled, but I’m motivated to start up again!
I hit my 5-month mark on the 30th and my hair too is falling out...I went to see a dermatologist and she told me to try a supplement called “Viviscal Professional”. Now it has to be the Professional one. So I was able to find it online for $60 and started taking it...I noticed my Hair loss has diminished so it might be worth a try for you.
She also said that if the Viviscal didn’t work, to try Minoxidil Shampoo. Hope it helps.ms.sss reacted to this -

I’ll be 5 months postop on 03/30 and am pretty happy with my results. So far I’ve lost 57 pounds and went down from size 20 to 14!
I am closer and closer to onederland and have been doing great with nutrition and exercise. I do HIIT workouts 6 times a week and have been eating 800-1100 calories, getting in Protein and Water.< br />
Both my surgeon and nutritionist are beyond happy with my results and as they said “I’m doing great, don’t change a thing”
I hope you are all happy and doing well too!JessLess, Hrsnjs and ms.sss reacted to this -
3 minutes ago, notmyname said:I'm at between 600-700 (but my NUT says I should be at more like 700-800 or more and getting a bit higher every week). But see my post above - I have been pretty nauseated and am eating less than I was able to about a month ago. I do Pilates 1-2x/week, do 30mn weight training with my trainer once a week, and do 30-40 mn on the treadmill or bike 3-4 times a week.
I was getting 700-800 a month ago and hit a 3-week stall. I started a Beachbody program by trainer Shaun T and had to increase my intake to keep energy up for workouts. Is 6 days a week of high intensity 30-min workouts plus yoga on Sundays. I've lost 4 lbs last week consuming 1100-1200 calories. My NUT said not to go over 1450 though, I've been following that and losing...I get a little anxious with the amount of calories although everything is pretty lean and high Protein.

I’m a little curious as to how many calories are you guys consuming daily.
I’m staying between 900-1300 and found that if I have less than 900 I hit stalls! I am thinking is because of the high intensity workouts I ak doing now and need more calories to burn more? 🤷♀️ -

You look fantastic, awesome work!!! Love your shorts, where are they from?
I got them at a Tommy Hilfiger store a couple years ago. These are sz 14.camille88 reacted to this -
I haven’t had any Hair loss yet but I’ve been taking Biotin and collagen since first week after surgery to prevent that and flabby skin...I think that’s why I haven’t had any issues yet.
I have a friend who’s a couple years postop and she said hear hair is still growing back so she keeps it very short and we don’t see any bald spots...it’s different for everyone I guess. -

I know it's impossible not to worry or compare your journey to someone else's but, I honestly think we are all doing great! I mean, when would you imagine losing over 35 pounds in 3 months? I am on the slower end also (3 months today and 38 pounds down since surgery) and I am damn happy with it! I find that not weighing yourself often and also not to worry about the weight is a big helper. My surgeon was pretty happy with my results and even told me that he believes, at this rate I can get down to 165, although my goal is 150 I am pretty excited about realistically getting close to that...I also prefer to lose slowly to avoid losing too much muscle mass rater than fat...so I am completely OK with my journey and not stressing about it at all! I know you heard this countless times, but it will come off.
