  1. Unlucky.. I'm glad at 3 months my appetite hasn't come back yet and I'm usually satisfied with my shakes; most days
  2. Don't stress about preop weight loss it's just a liver cleanse..
  3. Yeah it's pretty stupid like most people who go for wls obviously have problems losing weight why else would they be obese??? Making them go through months of dieting and then being told no you can't lose weight but yoyo for months which will cause more harm than good... My surgeon told me every kg I lose before surgery will make his job easier and my recovery easier but lucky in Australia Its up to the surgeon not the insurance they just pay for it; unless you want the govt to pay...then I think they have a few rules.. But not like you guys In the USA..with insurance companies acting like God!
  4. Stop making excuses to eat junk
  5. Yeah they should just use the weight you started at. Its weird and unfair to punish people for trying to make changes preop..
  6. Yeah share the meal with your hubby
  7. Pain from the holes in your belly where they put big metal things inside to do the surgery of course it will be sore and I had a drain bottle for 3 days with a tube going inside my belly to help with fluid that was most sore trying to sleep or get comfortable but once they removed the drain and I had the first shower it was BLISS! You only feel pain in your actual new stomach if you eat spicy food or try to eat too much too soon; you'll learn over time how your be stomach responds to different things..
  8. Everyone is different. I was only eating max 500kcal for the first 2 months..
  9. Too not lose weight you've got to be eating to many carbs. Calories. Sodium. Sugar. So many foods or meals you can buy that say they are healthy actually have too many carbs and too much salt. Every time I go shopping I have to read the label on absolutely everything and 90% of items I look at are not good enough for weight loss.. You need to be eating clean protein before anything else.. Low carb. If you're hungry you'll be snacking all day everyday and the calories will add up..
  10. Too much carbs and too many calories. I'm 3 months out and I get max 700cal and 30g carbs a day. Dietitians don't seem to understand bariatric surgery guidelines.
  11. Be very careful of peppers and spices your stomach may not like it early on..
  12. 1000s of posts on revisions
  13. I Got the RNY bypass and have not had one issue. No dumping. No allergic reactions. No change in tastes and lost a lot of weight and 10lbs from goal.
  14. Yeah sleeve will make it worse.. Seen too many ppl suffering and need to get revision.
  15. No way i never wanted it ..went straight for bypass
  16. I had RNY bypass 3 months ago doing great!!
  17. Your surgeon needs to write a letter to say it's urgent you can't live with the gerd reflux!
  18. No way.. I was eating maybe 500cal until 3 months out.. Carbs will also make you hungry; protein will curb the hunger
  19. So are you getting bypass?
  20. ^^^ if you're going to continue to give bad advice and make excuses to eat crap you are not helping anybody!!!!!!
  21. My comorbidities were diabetes. High blood pressure. Cholesterol issues. Others have sleep apnea. Yeah have a good chat with Dr make him resubmit a better letter
  22. Don't most surgeries need you to be nicotine free? Did you suffer from gerd or reflux with sleeve? Because I've heard the mini may also cause reflux. You should also find a proper psychologist to help with underlying issues causes you to eat more or bad.. I say this because of sleeve didn't help you why would mgb be different?
