  1. Most places need 2 or more comorbidities if under 40 BMI.. Ask your surgeon to adjust the paperwork
  2. You can only offer so much advice; if someone chooses not to take it then plz do not complain about Your slow weight loss without expecting back lash... We maynot be "qualified" dietitian but we HAVE actually lived with WLS and if we have done well it shows that we must know what we're talking about... People have got to stop making excuses to eat bad food unless they want to go back to their unhealthy weight...

  7. It also comes down to Age. Genetics. Etc I'm down 134lbs and i have a little flab on my arms and my lower belly but I still need to lose 10lbs i think and I've just bought a rower which should help tone a little... I'll post a photo when I lose 10 more lbs

  10. Ice cold water.. Milk will add too many calories and sugar.

  12. 40lbs in a year you must be very patient. I think I lost 40 in the first month but of course I was much heavier
  13. Yeah had ppl tell me I'm getting too skinny but they can't see my belly area that still needs to lose weight
  14. Drinking sugar free liquids or coffee and tea helps but activity wise go for a walk or ride

  16. Well I sacked my nutritionist because she was hopeless. Don't listen to me even though I've lost a lb a day pretty much everyday for 5 months - 132lbs ! Good luck on your journey!!

  18. You need to get rid of the regular gatorade it's full of bad sugars; mixing it won't do anything.. Sugar turns into fat and spikes your insulin.. You need to remove all bad sugars from your life
  19. felt like uploading a brand new photo. 5 months since I began my weight loss. 3 months since RNY surgery. HW 322 SW 256 CW 190 Feeling good; confident for the first time in my life. I'm still losing but slowly I think I'll get to 180lbs but that's about it then I plan to start a regime of weights and stuff to try build some muscle tone and deal with some belly flab. comments very much appreciated!!!
  20. Maybe it's a lactose issue then you'll need either pure isolate or pea or soy protein.. Personally i think there's something wrong if a person can't drink shakes they are very important for a number of reasons...
  21. There could be numerous factors as to why ppl stall and only that person really knows exactly what they are consuming and not everyone is 100% honest.... Sometimes you need to change up your intake or change your exercises or change calories until you figure out the exact combination your body likes...
  22. Try different brands. Use powder with water. I had to try like 3 brands before I found one I like..
