Healing is different for everyone, but I was told 6 to 8 weeks. My recovery took longer because I developed an infection.

Thanks! I did lose as much as him, basically another person. It's hard to believe that I was carrying around another person.

It really wasn't bad at all. I thought it was going to be much worse.

Those were the actual pants I wore just before surgery 18 months ago, size 32s. I fit into one leg now.

It is painful, but worth it. I was going to wait awhile before I got the tuck done, but when i went to see my doctor about repositioning my port, he suggested that we do it at the same time. Who am I am to argue? LOL! I just had it done last Friday, so I am really supposed to be taking it easy and not lifting for quite awhile. I'm listening, but it's hard. I feel like I'm being lazy, but I figure it's either that or risk infection, blowing the incision, etc.

I am doing ok. Just tired a lot and trying to do too much sometimes. It's really boring just laying in bed doing nothing. Fortunately my husband took some time off and is helping me greatly.
