  1. I've never had gerd, before or after surgery. I'm sorry if you are suffering, but I'm happy as a clam!
  2. Total weight lost 92 pounds at this point.
  3. Thank you so much! I still fight with those last 3 pounds. Sometimes they're off, sometimes they're on. But I'm right where I need to be!!!
  4. And I couldn't be happier! Lost all the weight I wanted to, lost a cpap, lost several chins, lost knee pain, gained confidence, gained a new wardrobe, changed my life! If any of you are struggling - trying to decide to do it, thinking it'll never work, thinking you can't, let me tell you, YOU CAN!!!!! I am rooting for you and am always happy to talk to ANYONE who might need encouragment. I'd post a pic if I knew how...maybe I can do it on the mobile app!!! PS.....My horse is still fat!!!!!
  5. When I was a few days out I kept thinking I was feeling hunger and was mad because I thought that was supposed to be gone! My nutritionist said nope, that's just stomach acid and spasming, it'll pass. and it did! Trust the process!!!
  6. Aww Fluffs - stahp!!!!! I never thought about having BD, but now I kinda agree with you. Also, I could see myself very easily going over toward the eating disorder side of things - even though I believe I am too levelheaded for that - because of how wrapped up in this I get. I am currently taking a scale break!! Today I have eaten: Breakfast, 3 deviled egg halves (homemade) 208 cals Lunch, 1 polly-o cheese stick, 85 cals 1.5 cups of chopped salad 100 cals Have a tomato and 2 cheese sticks left that I can eat for snacks Dinner will be a 3 oz burger w cheese, no bun, obviously!
  7. Fluffy - I am very sensitive to salt/water retention, but in this case, I don;t think that's it, because I've literally been losing and gaining the same 2 pounds for weeks. I think I need MORE water, less wine (occasional, but still) and more exercise!!!!
  8. I dunno about inches. I forgot to measure initially, so I never measured because I figured it would all be skewed. When I look at photos of myself I still see a fat girl, albeit less fat, but I weighed this when I got married and I looked GREAT!!!
  9. I'm in. My stats are all correct on the side there. 53 year-old female, 5'8" 7 months out. Breakfast today was 1.5 oz soppresatta 185 cals 1 carb Snack - .5 cup seafood salad 213 cals 2 carbs Lunch - Green Salad w ham, hard boiled egg and organic Italian dressing - 256 cals 1 carb Not sure what dinner will be but typically 3 oz of a dense protein and any vegetable I can fit in..... And I am STUCK at 167. For weeks. NOT HAPPY!!!!
  10. I know but I HATE that!!!! Sooooo close!!!
  11. Thanks, all! My eating is fine, but I need to up the water and exercise! Might need to increase calories as well.....I still live between 800 and 1000 a day.....
  12. Watched the first little bit! You are beautiful and this is a good informational starting point!!
  13. ...and haven't lost a pound in 3 or 4 weeks! This is my first REAL stall. Time to really Ramp up ALL efforts! I know what to do, just felt like grumping a bit.
  14. I think you can do mashed tofu, but I'd probably thin it a little with veg broth or soy milk or something. Even fine tofu can be thick to our tummies! When I first tried mashed potatoes I though I would die! Too dense!!!
  15. I craved salad like nobody's biz! But I waited until 10 weeks out to have it!!!
  16. Once I could eat regular food, spicy was IN. I love spicy food - Indian, Mexican, Vietnamese, Thai! I eat it all with zero problem!
  17. Pre-op I lost 20 pounds One month post-op I had lost 39 pounds 6 months post op I had lost 83 pounds I won't be a year out until December, but I'll let you know how it goes.
  18. Also - you probably need to poop!!!! That was real problem for me n the beginning. I could lose 3 or 4 pounds when I finally let one go!!!
  19. I do high protein, limited fat keto. So I aim for 60 or more grams of protein a day and limit to 30 or fewer carbs per day. I don;t really worry about the fat because I'm not eating foods that are particularly rich in fat. I have lost 84 pounds and have kept it off, so I know it's working. I started this modified keto plan at about 3.5 months out. It's easy for me to stick to and I'm always full.
  20. Same happened to me...almost couldn't even stomach the shakes! I am 6 months out and slowly coming around - I drank some diet tonic water and didn't barf!!! No gin, just the tonic - to address my old lady leg cramps!!!
  21. I had a huge hematoma and wound up having an allergic reaction to the Lovenox. I had that discoloration but it is now gone and I'm 6 months and 2 days out!!
  22. I made that! I used greek yogurt instead of mayo, but it was soooooo goooood!!!!
