  1. I was sleeved on Wednesday 2/20 and felt great by Monday, I have a desk job and returned back to work on Tuesday 2/26. I am now 6 weeks out and feel amazing, this is definitely the best thing that I have ever done for myself, I did have the dreaded 3 week stall that last 10 days, but I am now loosing again and eating much more 'normal' foods. Hoping that you continue feeling great!!

  2. I was sleeved on 2/20 I was doing really well with the weight loss until about 17 days out, then bam.. the scale stopped and it really sadden me, I am following my doctors meal plan, getting my Water and Protein in. I know everyone talks about the stalls but i was hoping that it wouldn't happen. This morning I got on the scale 10 days after the stall began and I am down 1.5# hopefully this is the start of that dreaded scale to start moving regularly again....

Yes I know be patient and continue doing what I am doing :) but lets just say I am one happy camper today!!

Hi everyone , I'm not telling anyone about my surgery (sleeve being done 20th March) they wouldn't understand to be honest

Work will be told its a hernia or scar tissue adhesions from a bad fall I had two years ago .... that did actually happen so they know I'm hurting from that still . I was wondering if anyone went back to work relatively quickly after the op. if so how did you manage . I dont have anyone close to share this with other than my daughter who doesn't live close so I'll be going through it on my own. So any advise or support would be gratefulgratefully received.

I had surgery in the morning on Wednesday 2/20, was home from the hospital Thursday by 1pm slept all afternoon. Was up and moving comfortably on Friday. Relaxed Saturday and Sunday, worked from home on Monday and have been back in the office since last Tuesday. I do have a desk job and stopped taking pain meds on Friday so I have been driving since Monday. I have surgeon follow up tomorrow, but I feel great!!!

The pictures on top were taken today at 193 lbs, I'm 5'9, so it may still seem high but I'm thrilled. Once I get to 175, I'm officially at my goal. I'm sure I have at least 10 lbs of excess skin thatll eventually be removed...but no rush. The pics below were 2 months preop (so around August 2018 and I weighed somewhere near 300lbs).

In 6 months , I'm down over 100lbs and feeling fabulous. Struggling with the excess skin on my belly and inner thighs. Any Spanx or waist trainer recommendations to conceal the pooch Lol!

Hope everyone is happy and would love to see updates on my fellow October sleevers and how everyone is doing in general! Xoxo!20190226_234625.jpeg

Follow the liquid diet plan your drs have given you. I'm so happy I did. I had my surgery yesterday with no complications. It only took an hr and half. I'm extremely sore but I'm doing great. I will be released today. My dr was so pleased with how far I've come and in my recovery. My throat is sore so I've had popcicles and ice cold Water. That helps so much. I had some discomfort with heart burn in my chest and grogginess from anesthesia. I'm still pretty high from the pain killers they have given me so I hope this helps and makes sense lol Good luck guys! I'm in the biggest loser club!!

I am scheduled for 2/20, 1 week down of pre op diet, much easier now then it has been. I am trying to judge how my recovery will ... I know everyone is different but I am taking eveyones stories in right now.

Congratulations, I can't wait to join you :)

  6. I received the call from my surgeons office late yesterday, notifying me that I have been approved, we scheduled my surgery for January 23, 2019, I cannot explain how excited I am. I am so ready to start this journey!!!

Any other January 2019 sleevers out there yet??

  7. Yesterday was my first consultation with the surgeon. I am so excited for this change, I need this, my family needs this! I’ve already given my PCP my paperwork for surgery clearance, I scheduled my psych appointment for next week. I need this to move fast.... I want to just get through the pre-op and surgery ...
