  3. He is just following his doctors plan... my doctor also has me from day 5 to purées and soft food. As long as he is following his doctor plan and sees what he can tolerate and what not everything will be good ? Happy recovery !

  10. I have made cauliflower Pizza Crust but also chicken/cauliflower pizza crust. Second was crunchier and was holding on better. I strongly believe it will be crunchy enough to get toasted too
  11. I am one of the lucky ones I guess, no hair loss (-although I cut my hair short in anticipation of what may come). I just got my protein, iron, calcium+vit D , B12 and my multivitamins (hidropolivit in drops) and I am good 8 months out of surgery

  13. I had a stop too, and I was quite sad , but I started intermittent fasting and it is really helping me. Helped with snacking, cravings and moved the scale down ! Cholesterol though is not purely weight related... my mother’s side family they all have high cholesterol (I mean extremely high numbers not just above the limit) but it’s hereditary...
  14. In my diet I could eat normal food from day 1 (just soft food for start etc) so... don’t panic just don’t do it again. Take good care of portions and really chew a lot your food. It is true you are still healing and everyone is unique. I understand you love your fiend and you don’t want her to feel bad, but on same time she should accept your decision if she loves you back as much :) All in all, follow your doctor instructions from now on. Better to be safe than sorry
  15. Base is chicken/cauliflower/egg and spices topping is cheese mixture, mushrooms and red pepper. Tiny bit of tomato with onion spices and herbs in between :)

  18. Still long way to go but thank you! I am so proud of me hehe
  19. That is amazing! I would be so thrilled if I ever get to reach 90kilos!! I am 140 at the moment and my goal is to first reach 110. Then I will decide if I want to go down to just 100 or reach 90! I am so happy already though and continuing to the beat of my abilities :)
  20. Thank you so much sweetie :))) I finished another successful day today ! Have a great one all too!!
  21. That is my first goal, it is in kilos no pounds, so it is a big goal, it is about 240 pounds. I am 5’7” (1,70m) I think my ultimate goal will be anything between 180-220 I will be happy with anything over that range :p although everybody keeps saying that the more you lose the more you wanna keep losing! At the moment I won’t mind being chubby as long as I am healthy. (I started at 452 so all these numbers seem tiny to me atm hehe )
  22. Hello everybody! I am very new to this fasting, doing it for 9 days now, it helps me be more aware of what I eat (if I eat all day there is space for crap eating too :p if I have to eat my Proteins within a given window I have to chose what I eat more carefully!) I try to do low carbs high fat at this time and it is working wonders so far. Overall I am happy with my decision to start this. I had my surgery in October, I am 7 months out. I was logging all my foods now religiously (could not bother before because they were wider spread :p) Well that’s all for now, will be lurking around here too from now on :)
  23. Hello all! I weighted myself this morning and I was happy to see that I am -65kilos from when I started, that is 143lbs less ! Still have about 40 kilos more to lose (88-90lbs) but I am already so happy, reaching the weight I had in my university years (and that was like 20 years ago) Congrats to all of us for taking the decision and doing the best we can for ourselves !!
  24. 7 months out lost 141lbs so far, but my starting weight was about 452lbs so I want to lose 80-100 more ☺️
  25. And my plate before and after :)
  26. I am completely on the opposite side of the city, but Barcelona is quite small anyway :) I was in the Olympic stadium yesterday for a concert took me less than half an hour to get there :)
