i was banded on may 21st and im in about the same boat as u are. i can pretty much eat whatever i want . Which is upsetting me! keep in touch let me know how it goes for u.

Hi all. I am 5 weeks post op, and have done pretty well up to now..... I am scheduled for my first fill on 6/30 ...... any ways I have noticed that I am getting hungry faster (real hunger.... not head hunger), and and needing more to fill me up over the last few days (I am back on solids) .... is this normal?:ohmy:

I was banded on January 24th and have had one fill 1cc in my 4cc band in March. On Monday, June 16th I am going for my second fil which I am hoping to only go to 2cc's. I am flying to Las Vegas on July 3rd and returning on July 7th for my Birthday which is the 8th. I heard that when you fly your band gets tighter and can stay that way for a few days? Is this true? Hope I can get a answer soon because if thats the case I will put off my fill until I get back. Thanks for your help!

I actually had the same question, I am flying to Omaha on July 1, and I get my first fill on 6/30.....

Dr Schram is doing my surgery this wednesday, and so far he is just awesome! And the Barix clinic is Ypsi is great to....

Ok so question..... How long were you off work after your surgery? I am just curious because I am putting in my medical leave request and I am not sure how long to tell them I will be gone?

Hi All, just thought I would introduce myself. I am 23 (24 may 26th) and I am schedule for Lap Band surgery on May 21, 2008 at the Barix Clinic in Ypsilanti, Mi with Dr Schram. I am very excited to start my new life with my lap Band.
