He said it was normal! Now I am up to 12 lbs lost and today makes 2 months. I really don't feel that it's normal. I feel better and I am happy about inches lost, I just think I should have lost more weight. I am 56 so I thought it might be my age.

If your surgeon isn't worried and you are following his/her instructions, I wouldn't worry. Let the tool do its work and walk, walk, walk! Good luck to you!

    Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. I'm from MA and am having the Gastric Sleeve on 6/18/19.

Nervous and excited. I'm grateful to everyone who is sharing their own experiences and truths. I know that life will be dramatically different.

Best of luck to all the June Sleevers!

Welcome! I'm in Boston as well and having surgery the same day at BMC. I'm halfway through the pre-OP diet. 😫 Good luck!

I’m scheduled for June18th as well. Starting get a little nervous but I guess it’s nice to be in the same boat as you guys.

So am I! I was super nervous but now I'm just excited and ready to be on the other side of surgery and on my weight loss journey.

Update: everything went well today, was actually up and walking the halls about two hours after getting in my room. Don’t get me wrong the pain can be real. Especially the gas pain, but you know who told me what do when that happens? My WLC family here, so I got my butt up and started walking . It worked. Thank from the bottom of my heart... good night

Congrats! Indeed, there is a wealth of information here. My surgery is 6/18. I already have in my head that I'm going to walk away the pain.

I so know this feeling, and I am sorry that you have experienced it. I was looking forward to an end of October early November surgery, but ended up having to complete 30 days wearing a cpap first. Last night made 30 days, so I had them schedule my clearance followup for today! Day 31. I wish you well on your journey.

It is frustrating and disheartening but we have got to keep moving forward. Fingers crossed that all goes well for you!

I finished everything so now I’m hoping to go into my pre op appointments with a surgery date soon. The psych eval was really quick and easy for me. The appointment didn’t even last 20 mins. Hopefully yours is as easy as mine was.

Thanks! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Hoping everything stays on schedule.
