I had my RNY on November 7th, 2018. I am trying my hardest to get all fluids I need. Has anyone found a good combo of bariatric Vitamins to get everything we need?

Alex8706 - I had my bypass surgery on November 5th and I’ve been able to get everything in since. I take the chocolate Celebrate 4 in 1. It combines all your Vitamins and Protein in one shake. It’s been good to have that in the beginning!

Frustr8 if you are asking me if I am happy with it, yes I am. It gave me time to heal between and if I had complications it was easier to pinpoint from where and what kind of dr to see. With follow-up care, I knew/know what specialist to go to. I know my menstrual issues could have been weight loss related, but I am done having kids anyway, so take it all was what I said.

Thank you johnsons13... that is good information. Never thought to have separation to know if complications arise where it’s coming from?!? Idek if I want to rush into making a decision. I just had a biopsy done today so maybe looking to see what comes back on that!

Will do. It’s a real count down now. I know someone mentioned a Facebook group but are you guys planning to do a Instagram?

We should do a Facebook group. You can make it private so only the approved members can view. This way if your not sharing your surgery with friends co-workers or extended family you can still get support from us!!

I started a Facebook group... if anyone wants to join it’s called bypass’ing in November

I was also worried about this! But got a lot of information today. I think at first I am going to go with the Celebrate Protein Shake 4-1. It is pricey but it has all the nutrients and Vitamins you need in your Protein shake so you only have 1 thing to do besides your liquids.< /p>

Before October is over I meant
Well my surgery is now in November. So I guess I won’t be starting October group! 😬 Good luck to everyone in October!! Can’t wait to hear how everyone did!!

  8. Thank you for that GreenTealael! I would go with the recommendation of my surgeon if he was to give me one. He won’t tell me either way and said it’s up to me and that I could do either. He will only answer my questions. So I am struggling to know what to do. I know no one can decide for me just wanting to see others opinions and maybe why they made the choices they did. You said you wondered why people chose the least effective one? Which surgery were you referring too?
