I’m a giver, what can I say?
-
Absolutely! SOMEONE clearly needs to make sure she doesn’t leave the new scarf on the plane. I’m willing to take one for the team.
-
She really has no other choice.
-
I have a lot of scarves, and wear them, but none are precious.

(It’s 4, don’t tell anyone)

OOOOH, I’ll join! Since surgery I have low blood pressure, so any time I bend over, do yoga, get up from a seated/lying position I get dizzy and faint. I passed out gardening. I wanna work in my garden, dammit! And now that I’m smaller and there’s less pudge in the way, I wanna do yoga! And planks, and all the things. *kicks rocks, carefully and from a fully upright position to avoid passing out*

We won’t talk about how many pairs of Altras I have.

Meh. I do love jewelry and I now love shoes, though. Okay, I'll edit this. I have a nice Garmin for hiking/running and my apple watch. Those I do love. LOVE. Even though I constantly forget to recharge them.

That makes sense. A long coat for daily stuff would be good. The packable one is more for hiking and backpacking. I think the only clear solution is that I need 2!

I don’t know! I’m thinking I’ll wait until REI has their member sale and I get my dividend. I tried some on in the airport at Denver, and they were real real nice. Part of the deciding factor is which ones hit me right, I have a short torso and huge hips/ass. So things that are designed to hit at a waist lower then mine run into some, umm issues. I’m thinking a lightweight down packable style, though. Something waterproof, because, uh, I live in Western Oregon. I’m also planning on getting a new ultra light sleeping bag, too. I made my other one when I was bigger, because standard ones were uncomfortable. But, it was never as warm as what some of the ones that are available are.

Oooh, I’ve been eying their coats! Maybe it can be my goal reward.

I bought one of my favorite dresses from ModCloth when it recently went on sale. I had this in red in a 3x, and wore it all the time. I gave that one away in June. This one is a size L. And it gives off a totally different vibe for some reason.

I love everything about those pics, Sophie! The cake is GORGEOUS, as is your outfit.
-
Wow! I especially love the bottom outfit.
-
Gah! And they would look great with my outfit I’m in!
-
Omg, those blue ones are freaking adorable.
-
I like these quite a lot. Where did you get them?

I am showing legs today. Well, ok, they are covered in pantyhose, but still! Legs! I’m super self conscious about them, because I have varicose veins. I picked this dress up on a clearance rack a while ago. It’s pretty comfy and has some pretty black embroidery detailing on the bottom.

I agree with this. Simple tailoring can make a HUGE difference. With 50 pair of underwear, you only have to do laundry once a month! Genius!

I went 90s rocker yesterday. I found a thrifted Mens tweed blazer, complete with elbow patches, that I wore with it. This was the day before. I love black and white stripes. OH, and my pants were pleather leggings. I’m not 100% convinced that this was totally work appropriate, due to the pants, but there are perks to being in a creative field. AND THE BEST NSV! I knit myself these wool socks almost a decade ago, they were soooooooo small that I couldn’t wear them. I almost got rid of them, but couldn’t bring myself to. They are now able to comfortably go on my toesies.

OMG, I am going to resist going there. It could be dangerous! Who am I kidding? I’m going to end up there before the end of today.

April 2019 Surgeries!
AngieBear replied to CajunSam's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
HW 300 lbs., surgery weight 259, current weight 174. My weight loss has slowed quite a bit, which is to be expected. I’m VERY pleased with my progress and getting super close to goal. I do have low blood pressure now, which is annoying. But that’s the only issue.
