    I Can Make U Thin?

We've been watching it... my boyfriends giving it a go and seems to think the techniques work.
  2. Go here: Plastic Surgery Pictures, Videos, Photos, Pics, Before, After, Cosmetic Surgery You can search for people who had surgeries done in specific cities and see their pictures (if they choose to share them) and reviews of how they feel about the results some times too

    Argon's Activities

Hey guys, I'm still around. Exploring Halifax and takin' 'er easy. No new job yet... I'm kind of toying with some ideas. How does Mandi: Real Estate Agent sound? haha seriously though, I have a friend who's doing really well with that, and it's got me thinking about it. Pretty much all of our stuff is unpacked, except, we have so much less room here, that we need some bookcases to but stuff in/on. Ordered some from IKEA and they should be here in a couple weeks (can you believe there's no IKEA east of Montreal!?) so we may finally be settled in soon. I got a defill a few weeks ago, and I'm at 0.5cc's right now, and I'm going to be getting completely defilled, cause I'm still having 'too tight' issues at only 0.5ccs. I'm going to see if I can maintain my weight loss with no fill.... it's scary though. I gained big time when I was defilled, but that was also over Christmas when lots of goodies and chocolate are around. Wish me luck! I did something crazy the other day and tried on some size 8 pants, cause I'm wearing 10's right now, and they're getting too big. 8 was still loose, so I tried 6's and they fit!! Then yesterday, I remembered that I had a gift card from my birthday that I never used, and decided that since I can FIT size 6's, but don't actually own any size 6's, it will be easier for me to gain weight and not notice, cause my clothes are too big right now. That was my rationale that I had for buying some clothes! I grabbed a few pairs of jeans, and for the hell of it, a SIZE FOUR too. Tried 'em all on, leaving the 4's for last... found the size 6 jeans I liked, then tried on the 4's. I got them ON, DONE UP and everything. Now they were snug looking, and if I was someone who liked that really fitted look, maybe I would have got them, but... who cares, I can say I got them on, and thats all that matters! Anyways, I got some snazzy new size 6 pants, and I blew my mind. I can't get over how I look at pants and am so sure they're not going to fit... even pulling them over my thighs ... then I pull them up, zip 'em up... VOILA! Friday is mine and Dan's 5 yr anniversary, and Saturday is my 2 year bandiversary, so I've got some celebrating to do! That's about all that's going on with me. Thanks for asking!!! Hope you all are doing well! Mandi

    Fast Food...

I can't say that I haven't had cravings (but also didn't for a while in the beginning), but the odd time I've caved and had some fries or something from McDonalds, for example, I didn't enjoy them at all. The old standbys are definitely not as good when you have to take your time eating them, that is for sure. Now I go for things I KNOW taste good, cause if I can't eat much, I'm at least going to enjoy the amount I CAN eat.

    Adult Question....

Never a problem. Obviously while you're initially healing, you'll wanna make sure your belly isn't being smooshed or bumped around, but you'll be the judge and know whether its still sore or not and can take a little rough-housing... And after you're all healed, I don't think you need to worry about it at all.

Lost 100 lbs? What band do you have??

I have a 4cc Inamed band... down to 0.5cc's in it (most ever was 1.5cc), and probably getting that all taken out next week.

Poll: Do you miss diet soda?

I still drink it if I feel like it... diet or not. The fizz makes it tough to drink, so I usually shake up the bottle, drain out the carbonation, and repeat a couple times to make it nice and flat. Yum.

    Income tax return

I just used the print out they gave me at the clinic and that was fine. Make sure you guys save all your receipts for everything you claim, cause they did 'come after me', and luckily I had everything to back all my expenses up, so it was no problem.

    Bathing Suits?!

Yes, but I've got the skin of a someone 150lbs more than a weigh now, is my problem. I will be bringing someone with me though, thanks.

    Bathing Suits?!

I'm having a hard time finding a swimsuit. I haven't worn one in probably 15 years (i'm 27!). I found one that looked good, then I looked at the back, and I had back fat squeezing out of the hole below the 'racer back'!! Went hunting for more today and all that I tried on gave me back cleavage!! BACK cleavage!! I bought some kind of yoga/bike shorts to wear over whatever swimsuit I find, cause I'm not cool with my thighs at all. All the tankini type things I saw, the shorts were verrry short. I'd like to not have to wear a swimsuit AND shorts, so I hope I can find some kind of separate swim-top.

    Spaghetti Squash Pesto Casserole

I just wanna say thank you georgiagirl for reintroducing me to the wonders of the spaghetti squash! I am hooked on this, with both feta and parmesan! I know I'm going to eat myself into being sick of it, but I'm loving it in the meantime!! Gonna go grab my squash outta the oven, lunchtime!

    Income tax return

I use Ufile.ca to do my taxes. You could input all your info, and it will tell you how much you would get back. You don't have to pay for it unless you chose to print it out to mail it away or want the file to submit via Netfile.

    Too Tight

It's not fun, is it? I feel for ya. I've had to deal with it more than a couple times. You'll feel 100% better with a slight defill, if it does set you back at all, it won't be nearly as bad as if you try to stick it out, and end up having to get a complete defill. Good luck. Try to get as much Water down as you can until Monday.

    Spaghetti Squash Pesto Casserole

It was good with the feta... but little did I know that feta, or at least what I had, doesn't really melt all that good or at all. I'll crumble it WAY better and spread it around more next time so its at least evenly distributed. I feel like it again tonight, so I went and bought some parmesan today and I'm going to make it your way. Actually... you know what, I'm gonna half and half it so I can try them both!

    Spaghetti Squash Pesto Casserole

I wanted so bad to make this, I just ran out and bought a spaghetti squash, sure I had parmesan... well I don't. I do however have lots of feta, so I'm gonna try that! I think it'll be good!

    Nova Scotia fill nurse

There's one in Saint John, but I think she's only for Dr. Cobourn patients. Other than that, I don't think there are any.

Yeah... I don't have another Dr. And I've also been reading about Paxil, and some bad stories, but I have no other options right now. anyways: about 157 here and apparently that shirt's a little transparent

you should probably delete that number.. I'm sure she wouldn't appreciate having her number posted online. The original person got the contact info from me, via email or msg, and that's the way it should stay ... I think.

Oh, by the way... I didn't last on the Effexor long. The headaches were unbearable. I've got a Paxil rx that I'm starting on soon though. Should be interesting.

    Argon's Activities

Just thought I'd update myself here a little. Moved into our new apartment on Friday. It's pretty awesome! Apparently when they pulled up the carpets in our apartment, it didn't have the hardwood floors underneath that it should have... so they installed new birch-looking laminate. When we thought we were moving to Vancouver, we sold our new couch set, and were left with an uncomfortable futon for the meantime. Well.... my friend is moving back to Saskatchewan, and didn't want to ship her couch and coffee tables back, so we bought them. I'll post pictures.... I'm just cleaning up and unpacking right now to take pictures for Dan and our families to see what our place looks like. Dan left this morning to go home to Calgary for a week or so, since he never got to go home at Xmas, and has about a month off before he starts his new job. I'm applying for a few jobs, but not really wanting any of them. I want to explore my options and see if I can find something I really want to do. Yeah, that's right.... 150 freakin' pounds gone, but not done the good way. I was way too tight, and unable to get to have a defill until yesterday. I didn't get completely defilled thank GOD, so hopefully I won't gain everything back (everything meaning the last 20 or so pounds). This weight loss just seems so surreal, and came very uncomfortably, so I don't even feel good about it, and never 'celebrated' any of it. My band is soooo fickle, it's insane. My last TOO TIGHT period was at 1.2cc's... and now I'm down to 0.5cc. Once upon a time I was at 1.5cc's and losing nice and smoothly, but I guess that WAS about 75lbs ago, so it's understandable that I would require less tightness to be restricted, right?! It's just so annoying. I'm setting aside a 'fill fund' so I'll have money available all the time so I can go up in tiny increments, cause I think that's what I'll need. That is, if I need anything more than what I'm at right now to maintain my weightloss. I wouldn't mind losing more... just because I like to think that I will be able to eat up the fat in my flab, but who knows if that would happen. I know people will tell me I'm too skinny... but, uggg. When I was home at Christmas, I was about 145, and my mom and everyone said I was already too skinny. You know how people are though, worrying. My ideal weight could be anywhere between 120-150, so I'm doing just fine, I think. I don't think I'm looking sickly... a bit boney in places though. Pictures soon, I swear!
