Snow day breakfast! Egg/egg white scramble with peppers, onions, feta and tomato. Two turkey sausage links and half a gluten-free bagel. Managed about 1/3 before I started sneezing. I'll munch on it throughout the day to get those protein/calorie goals hit. Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Ive always loved water plain but I suggest infused water! Put some cucumber slices, lemon, lime, blueberry, blackberry, strawberry...whatever you feel like in it! Hint water is also the bomb Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Dating

Ah that makes sense. Is he interested in you like wanting to know you more or interested like next wife material? No, I don't want someone exactly like me. But because I work 70+ hours a week and am an artist it's important to me to find someone that appreciates the arts. But we all need to grow so differences are good Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

Situationally.....hmm. can you expand on that if comfortable? I'm in a limbo right now. So far I haven't had success on dating apps but haven't tried many. I just need someone who's ideal date is a symphony concert and/or helping me grade things haha. Maybe when I turn 30 I'll start getting a cat a year [emoji23] Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

  13. Vacationing in Florida and Im doing pretty well! I've had sime calculated "cheats" but none of it has gotten out of control. Just need to make sure it stays that way. Ex: a bite of a donut, a small chai tea spread out over the whole day, a bite of pizza, some dark chocolate Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Is it working ??

Also I aim for 70g of protein, and Im not able to get near that for withought a protein shake. I prefer that so I get more variety. Yes protein is important but so are carbs. As a swimmer and a coach I need carbs more than others. Protein is not the end all be all that WLS sometimes portrays. My levels are all normal if that helps Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Is it working ??

No worries! I didnt have any either, and my nutritionist was basically like "try to get in about 400 calories and dont have more than 1/3 cup the first month. And I was STARVING due to how active I was, and faint feeling. I found this chart on one of my facebook groups and had an ah-ha moment. I showed my basic mealplan to my nutritionist and she was like "of course thats great!" Thank God Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Is it working ??

I found this to be very helpful for me. Also, my nutritionist said I needed to add more due to my job (teaching) and having 12 hour days with 10k steps, plus working out 4-6 times a week. I aim for 1100-1300 calories a day and am doing great. 4 months out, down 93 pounds and 3 dress sizes. Hang in there! Take measurements every month! Hi Richard! I was sleeved August 27th and In down 82 pounds! I work out an hour a day and do weights 3x a week, I teach full time and take 10k steps a day. An average eating day for me: 7am: protein shake 10am:morniny snack. Cottage cheese and sunflower seeds, hardboiled egg and clementine, etc. 12 pm:lunch. Bowl of soup and a few apple slices, lettuce wrap, salad, grilled chicken with pesto, baked ricotta, egg muffins, etc. 3pm: pre workout snack. Banana/oatmeal "cookie", rice crackers and hummus, etc. 7 pm: dinner. 1 egg, half a slice of cheese, salsa. Salad, soup, cauliflower crust pizza, chicken curry, refried beans with grilled chicken and cheese, etc. 9pm: dessert. Sugar free pudding, sugar free jello, 1/2 power crunch bar, hightl protein ice cream, a mini dark chocolate peanut butter cup. Total calories: 800-1100 calories. If I eat less than that my body starts to shut down and I am faint. Throughout the day I drink at leat 12 cups of mostly pure water. Sometimes I spice it up by adding lemon, having tea or powerade. Exercise routine

Does it have to be in your house/free? I go to the Y everyday and do a variety of strength training circuits, exercise clesses, and swimming laps. The fitbit app has a ton of free workouts, youtube is a good resource, and old school dvds. Sent from my SM-J727R4 using BariatricPal mobile app

Is one week off work enough?

Im a teacher that takes 10k steps just during the day and rarely sit down. I also play instruments for my job and teahc middle school. I planned around the school calendar, but I really needed a full 2 weeks to be ready fir work. After 1 week I was still bloated, gingerly moving, and exhausted. Fitbit with Nutrition

Hello! My name is Kate, I had gastric sleeve surgery on August 27th, 2018 in La Crosse, WI! I've finally moved onto the pureed/soft food stage, but am on that for the next 5 weeks Anyway, things are going well and I added exercise back in last week. I wear a Fitbit Flex2 because I'm a swimmer and coach and I can go in the water with it. However it doesn't currently have a feature in the nutrition portion where it says how many grams of protein, carbs, fats, etc. and goals. I know everyone recommends My Fitness Pal, but I'd like to avoid creating a whole other account and then enter my info in two separate things. Has anyone found a way around this or do I just have to suck it up and have 2 platforms?

Hi everyone! My name is Kate, I'm a musician and teacher in the St. Paul area! I'm 3 weeks out of VSG surgery, which I had in La Crosse, WI. Currently Im struggling with getting protein in because I just don't want any more protein shakes and yogurt. Fingers crossed for me to move to soft solids on friday! 25. Gah. Why is every surgeon so different?! Mine has forbid frozen fruit and smoothies even WITH protein shakes until month 2. So frustrating. I'm glad you're getting through it though! Today I really just didnt' drink anything. I used to drink a gallon of water a day but in large quantities so just sipping is killing me. And my stomach is consistently grumbly....is that normal?
