  1. My biggest craving was salt. Everything we got was sweet. But we were allowed to have low sodium broth a couple of times a day. So I picked some up and this brand was very serious about it being low sodium. I added salt to it to make it taste like something. I hated sweet things while I was on my pre-op for the four days before having to stop. I never craved any other foods though. I was so full from the shakes, bars and milk we were allowed that eating anything I missed wasn't really something I wanted.

  2. I did a kitchen purge. Since I live alone i was able to get new much smaller dishes to eat off of. I Hated my old dishes. I kept some stuff that wouldn't go bad for a while and all my flours and sugars, Condiments, tossed or donated dishes, cups, old plastic wear, and reorganized everything and put shelf liner down like a functioning adult. It was nice.

That is awesome they are getting you in so fast! It took weeks for me and then I changed my insurance and had to wait weeks again. And the soonest surgery day is end of Feb. My fingers are crossed that my 6mm stone and my 1.5 cm stone can stay put until then.

I was shocked too since we had agreed on Monday coming up but then moved it to this Friday. I am hoping they can do something then about it. But it doesn't hurt so there is that.

  4. I just need one more approval for surgery to happen next month and I have to go back to my PCP tomorrow to see what she says. I needed a CT Scan for my kidneys and now she wants me into discuss it. I am hoping its just instructions or something like keep a close watch on this. I am so tired of doctors right now.😬

  5. I think my problem is that I loathe running but still need cardio but prefer to lift weights but want help deciding a routine for both and was wondering if someone knew of a website , an app, or if they are in the DC area a trainer who would help me create one.

  6. Anyone know of a good resource for finding a exercise routing for both pre and post op? I am having a hard time because the days are now too dark to safely run/walk where i am and i rather sit on a bed of nail than run on a treadmill.

  7. I was wondering if anyone has some advice for a newbie? I struggle with being hungry all the time and I try to ignore it or drink Water but if I drink too much water I end up with acid reflux. I sometimes will drink a Protein Shake but that doesn't really help right now. I am only 2 weeks into getting started on the road of getting better off. Does the hunger pains get better?
