I had bypass in August. Started losing hair late Nov. Lost really bad for a month. Now growing back with little half inch tufts lol

Vyvanse didn't work for me. I was on focalin xr before bypass. Supposedly could break capsule up but it was too high of a dose. Now back on 10mg tablets 2x a day. Biggest problem is remembering to take the afternoon one. Had to setup an alarm. Seems to be working for me though. I'm 6 months post

I had ablation in 2010 with tubal. Was told by Dr that after surgery first one or 2 could be heavy. Yep happened. Month 3 period spotting period spotting you get the gist all the way to Dec. Have pcos. Went back to gym. Provera to stop it and here I am 47 and back on birth control. Ultrasound showed 2 small fibroids says not big enough to be the issue. Biopsy on Wed of lining. Mine def grew back per the ultrasound. She won't redo the ablation. I don't like her suggestion as not a guarantee to stop spotting. She tells me usually wls corrects pcos. Your body is doing everything it shouldn't be. Ha welcome to my world!!
Think I'll be staying on bc until my weight stabilizes then see where I am. I don't expect to see menopause until 52-53. -

Sounds familiar. I sent my cpap back last week. Haven't used it since surgery in August. Most of the requirements are the hospital and Dr's office. My ins only required psych eval. So yes hoops

Are you taking Iron supplements? I find that clogs me up quicker than anything. I had rny and do not take the iron. We monitor my levels and so far so good ands no more of this problem lol

You can see my scalp now at the top, sides, and crown. Tried extensions. My hair is very thin and fine so hard to hide. Having my stylist make me a wig 😀

I used to say how much. Now I just say quite a bit. It sounds weird saying 70+ lbs cause then you know they're going to try to do the math lol

Same here. I didn't get heavy until pcos kicked in. That was my 20's. Fast forward 20 yrs and a divorce I just didn't bother dating as I disgrace feel comfortable in my own skin. I'm now down to my lowest weight since 1998. I'm at 198-199 naked lol. Some might consider still big but I'm rocking it. Only thing I miss is my boobs. My ass was pretty sad when I was big now it's nonexistent

What chart are you going by? I have my 6 month follow up next month. Finally made it to onederland this week but barely lol. Dr goal is 180 for me. Trying to see if I can get there by then. I wasn't very good in Dec. Only lost 5lbs but that was due to my poor choices. We'll get there!

I have pcos. Diagnosed when I was 21. It will never get better on its own. For the first time in over 20yrs my sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure are finally normal again. Cycles are straightening out. No longer on metformin. This is just 4 months post op. Wish I had done it at your age!!! Very easy to gain weight. Swear I would gain 5 lbs over night and take a month to lose it if I could. Very happy with my body returning to what I remember!!!
