  1. Hi I haven’t been here for awhile, I’m 9 months in and down 93 lbs. I was hoping to hit 100 before my appointment which was last week, I’ve been having severe nausea and vomiting, I have an appointment Gastro Doctor next week. I was Prescribed 800mg Motrin I know I wasn’t supposed take it but I started 4 months after surgery, I’m just hoping that I didn’t give myself an ulcer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

  2. Wow!!! Awesome costumes! Halloween is so fun. I'm dressing up tonight as a Bunny to match our cutie Mr. Butter's and on Friday as a Zombie. I throw my sisters B-day/costume party every year, so I get to dress up twice...yay!

    Happy Halloweenie to E1. 👻

I am a lymphedema sufferer. Lets be real quiet right now they are less swollen. At any rate I will have Rny surgery and I will update. if it progressively gets better. I have a theory on what's causing mine. and we will See if I am right. I think my belly fat weight blocks the lymph cannels from draining right. But we shall see, shall we?

I thought my weight also keep me posted. Thanks!

I had surgery 3 months ago and I have to say my lymphedema has went down about 50 %. Some days it is a little bigger but it has really improved. There is a thing called dry brushing that might help and I'm gonna try it.

I will try the dry brushing. Thanks!

  5. I have edema in both legs- my left is much worse, I take Lasix- 40mg. it has gone down slightly since my surgery on 8/6. I tried oils, massage, wrapping, also a machine called Verso that only fit on my foot it was meant to fit on the calf but that def. wouldn't happen. I wonder if the people who made the product even know what edema does. I was wondering if anyone else has seen a big improvement after weight loss, I really hope that it goes away. Thanks for any thoughts. :)

Hey! I started at 355 (atleast that's how much I was when I finally had the courage to step on the scale!)
Got down to 326 for surgery.
I'm 8 months post op and weighed in at 233 yesterday! I had the sleeve.
Went from 4xl scrubs to an xo with room!
I struggle with food choices sometimes still, but that's part of the journey. I'm hoping to hit goal at 1 year post op. I'm aiming for 190! I'm 5'7

you look great! nice smile! very happy for you!

  7. I started at 385 I lost 15 before surgery which wasn't a a whole heck of alot but my surgeon said it was ok and I had my surgery on 8/6. I was 370 the day of. I am 2 weeks post op, the 1st week I lost 7 and this week 13 for a total of 20 which I am very happy about. I also think it's going to take at least 80 for people to really notice. It will come in time- it took time to put it on and it will take time to take it off. B)

I found that my brain "recognized" broths as a "meal" and gave me a sense of satiety. Sweet drinks didn't do this.

SF Jello also retained some of it's "solidity" and helped me feel like I'd actually eaten something.

I am really liking broths, I have a cup for lunch and or diner, it does make you feel as thought you "ate". I have 2 shakes a day they are so filling and after about 7oz I get nausea. I bought Equate caramel but it is way to sweet for me, my favorite so far is PP strawberries&cream. I have tried PP Water not a fan. I like Snapple Diet Peach I have a sip here an there between water.

I went through a long stall right after losing the first 2 weeks, but finally starting to lose again.

I did measure and have lost between 2" and 2.5" off of each area. That's exciting at least. Anyone else going through that ? Slow loss, but inches going away?

I am 10 days post op saw doctor yesterday only 7lbs loss. I measured yesterday I hope I lose inches how often should I measure?
