Well I’ve still been taking my Tylenol 4 just about every 5-6 hrs so honestly when I lay down I don’t feel too much because of that but I’ll bet if I don’t take it I will I usually sleep on my side so I’m sure is just still some gas but still check in with your Bariatric team to make sure

    Thanks for the info!

  2. Question, I am 6 days out too, I do have pain on my left side still, is that normal do you think. It’s the same pain I had after surgery (sleeve) it is less pain everyday but just still there. I could not go to work if I had too today. I also had to take milk magnesium and a stool softener, so it could just be gas and bowel related. So just checking out there. A little nervous. Other then that just trying to get all the liquid in I can!

No pain in my left side, slight pain in my right side. I was off my pain meds before I left the hospital( day after surgery.) They did give me pain meds to take home and I have only used them twice. The first few days I had trouble sipping , it really was work! It's day seven and the only problem I seem to have is putting my shoes on so I can go to the gym.

Thanks for the update, my pain might just be gas, hopefully

Yes my surgery was 8/6/2018 and I was afraid I was going to die, I woke up the morning of my surgery and really wanted to cancel. I didn't and I'm glad I am 1 week post op and feeling great!! the first day was a little rough but nothing like I expected. I was up and walking 6 hrs post op. I think going in expecting the worst and finding out it really wasn't that bad helped me. P.s. this was my first surgery ever.

My surgery was 8-7, do you feel left side pain still? I feel I did well walked the night of surgery as well. I am still have pain on left side, nothing unbearable or intense, just pain. I still take pain meds, one in afternoon and one around bedtime. How about you?

I had surgery the 8th. I thought i would be getting around a little better, but there is this one part of my stomach, maybe where the hernia was, that is still killing me! I try walking, but can't make it too far because of the pain. One step at a time I know. Everything else is going great though.

    Is it your left side?

  6. Hi guys, I am getting my surgery this Tuesday unless I chicken out, the gastric bypass. One of my biggest concerns is the bathroom issues. How many have bowel issues after surgery, even a year out, the idea of my intestines having a blockage scare me too. I had a friend 10 years after her surgery have that happen, is that because of gastric bypass? Any advice would help or information. Thanks again

  7. My surgery is Tuesday the 11th,, I am still undecided, I am signed up for bypass. I initially went in for sleeve, doctor felt long term weight loss, keeping it off, the bypass would be best. He also said this procedure (bypass) was around longer then the sleeve, I have some auto immune issues. So I would like any advice there is. Thanks

I am 233lb would like to be 135-150,,
