  1. @Harley66 we have the same surgery date. My height is 5’4”, I'm currently 256 pounds and my goal weight is 175. According to my BMI, I should be aiming for 130ish. I believe I should aim for the weight that'll make me happy.
  2. I'm a few days away from having my surgery (8/6), I am overly excited however I am also very nervous. The process took about 2 months which was pretty quick. I don't have to do a liquid diet but I'm currently doing one anyways for the next few days. I have to admit I didn't do a full 2 weeks of the diet my surgeon provided and I'm a little concerned my liver hasn't shrunk enough. I've been drinking protein shakes 2 times a day and eating dinner. I have my hospital bags packed and ready to go but my nerves definitely have the best of me!
  3. Today I went for pre-registration... To day the least.... Monday IS SURGERY DATE 9:30 AM!
  4. August 6th as well.
  5. August 6th preop and also would love a buddy!!
  6. I'm currently on an antidepressant and Adderall after surgery I will continue to take them doctors orders. I was told to get pills that are able to be crushed. I will not stop those meds being that they make me feel completely sane
  7. I’m am August 6th as well! Super excited and nervous.
  8. My surgery date is the 6th, super exciting!
  9. Let me just say I'm doing strength training and I'm going to do it after surgery as well. My opinion is I know I'm going to lose the weight so way not build muscle during the process. I could care less what a doctors orders are if it works for me it works. Doctors orders are suggestions. How can they tell you what will for you!
  10. Thank you I'm getting some tomorrow.
  11. To each its own. Don't judge anyone. We all have something we will go back too at least once. ??‍♀️
  12. Honestly, I've never tried any of these. My favorite is premier. Everything about it is good. While premier is good it’s only 17 servings per can ( powder) & 18 to a case at Costco costing 25.99. I would have to buy 4 cases in order to have 3x a day for 30 days.
  13. Thank you @RickM
  14. I’m thinking about trying wellesse liquid calcium with vitamin d. Any reviews?
  15. Good day all, This is my Preop diet that I will be doing after I’m able to eat again. Pretty simple! Start weight: 262 Current weight: 252 Surgery weight goal: 250 Surgery date: 8/6
  16. Exactly! I’m hoping I get the better end of the stick!
  17. Thank you I will continue to post about it.
