I hope you get resolution to your issues but I wouldn’t throw in the towel on the forum because a couple people who don’t know you started whining on your thread and ruined it for you.
Ditto. There are people here who have a softer approach and who really want to offer support. I hope things get better for you.

Hey. I’m four months out and I can tell you that I can relate to the crying and buyers remorse and all of the things you are feeling. Be gentle and kind with yourself. It will get better! You will be healthier. You made the right choice. Just focus on taking each day as it comes and working your plan. Best of luck to you! We’re all here to cheer you on!

I’m an RN working from home on my computer. Took two weeks off post op. The exhaustion post op was the hardest part for me even after the two weeks. Still need a nap once a day and I was sleeved July 10th.

Walking and moving is key at this point to alleviate the gas pains. Yes-use the incentive spirometer.

Hopefully she has read some of the responses and realised that there is no point in feeling sorry for yourself, you can't turn back the clock you have to get on with it.
I am hoping she went to the ER and got that dehydration sorted out and has now worked out what and how to drink. If you don't like plain Water, put cordial or some kind of flavouring in it. Not being able to drink because of a metallic taste is a bit over the top. I'm sure lots of people get that sort of taste for no known reason and drink anyway, I know I do.
Hopefully she reports back soon and lets us know that yes she is OKDitto

Except it's now fall. This means: pumpkin spice, Apple pies, and for me: Cream cheese. Cream cheese is the bane of my existence. I love that stuff. Honestly I could eat a block of it. So as I sit here making my cream cheese stuffed pumpkin bundt cake I am mentally calculating how I'm going to need to work out for an extra 100 hours to accommodate all of my "just a little taste to make sure" moments. 😩
I can resist the halloween candy. I can resist soda, and high carby foods. But cream cheese just calls to me! November is definitely going to be a slow weight loss month if I don't watch it!

Hi there. I’m an RN. Was sleeved July 10th. I was terrified of going under anesthesia but everything went well. Walking right away was key.

You’ll get there......best of luck in your journey!

I've had the misfortune of watching my youngest son's marriage fall apart (they have 3 young children) because his wife decided to jump on the holier than thou vegan wagon. She now spends her time condemning others for their food choices and expecting everyone to accommodate her food choices anytime she's around and might need to eat. Too many people start treating food like religion after they find something that worked for them. I'm sorry, but if I know it's an evangelist at my front door, I'm not answering it. I don't want to debate my beliefs with anybody. That's why a lot of the support group admin's on Facebook will pull out the ban hammer when people start preaching absolute (and potentially argumentative) opinions for a healthy lifestyle. They're considered trolls and get booted. I'm not saying that anyone should get booted here but save the judgmental rhetoric for your own circle. I think pretty much everyone on here has from time to time had to deal with judgmental people and their advice on the "healthiest way to eat" and just want to find what works best for them by filtering through lots of other people's experiences.
🙏🏻 Amen!

Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing you on the losers bench soon! Keep up the good work!

I wasn’t prepared for the emotional changes I experienced after surgery. I was sleeved July 10th and while I’m much more at peace with my decision to have the surgery at this point, I struggled with anxiety and depression for the first couple of weeks post op. It gets better.
