They have a patch they put on me for nausea and I received other iv meds as well. I too get very sick after surgeries. I was fine. As far as not losing weight, it’s a commitment and I hear from successful sleevers that as long as you stick with the program it works. Plenty of success stories on these boards.

The pain is ok. I was on just Tylenol a couple Days home. As I’m healing I get twinges of pain in my incision sites. You may be just fine with one week off.

I took a full two weeks off and I wish I could have taken more time. Five weeks out and I am laying down as we speak on my break (I work from home-desk job). The exhaustion is he biggest thing for me.

That’s fantastic. Hoping once I’m able to walk more successfully I’ll be able to start running again. Good for you!

Today I’m 6 days post-op and I feel that between trying to get my Protein and Water, I am constantly putting something in my mouth and I’m feeling so fulll all the time. I still haven’t gotten all that I”m supposed to each day yet even doing that. I am just at a loss—is this normal in the beginning? What have others experienced?
How’s it going? I’m five weeks post op and still feel the same way you did in this post. Constantly putting something in my stomach. Too much.

I can’t see that being possible. I took two full weeks off from work and wish I had taken more. Five weeks out I still feel the need for a nap Due to the exhaustion.

Yes. I went back to work after two weeks and I was exhausted for the first couple of weeks. Still feel like I need a nap mid day.

This is embarrassing, but here it goes: I polished off an entire Big Mac yesterday. Yep. Don't ask me how my stomach fit it all in because usually I can't eat that much, but I was hungry. Didn't drink with it or have anything else with it, but polished that sucker off all by myself. That's a first since my surgery a year ago. A part of me feels I should be terrified I was able to do that. I'm not doing it again because that's what got me where I was before my surgery. Yes, I feel ashamed.
Forgive yourself and move on. Start fresh today.

Your anesthesiologist should speak with you before the surgery. Talk about your concerns. He or she should alleviate your fears. You will do fine. Relax.

I think a lot of the other peeps on here have the right idea though, so long as you know there will be fluctuations and don't beat your self up about it, it can be okay? I have a lot of work to do around that my self.I just can’t be obsessive about it and I can be so I’m trying to be good and only weigh in once a week.

They were calling my name. I swear. No. No Portion Control. A handful did just fine. They were yummy.

I reached into a bag of goldfish crackers and had a handful.

Five weeks out still having trouble with nausea and Constipation with the Vitamins. Just had to put the Iron on hold for a few weeks per my doctor because of the constipation. I take Celebrate chewable calcium chews and twin lab capsule Multivitamin. The twinlab keeps coming back up. I tried celebrate but I was vomiting that you too.
