Post op pain - be honest

When I woke up first thing I felt was the pain my my chest-gas pain. Worked it’s way out before I even made it to my room. I used the pain pump in the hospital and used pain medication when I got home because there was pain but it was not unbearable. Eight weeks out now and sometimes I get twinges of pain in the incision sites but nothing I need to take pain medication for. Walking was key. -

Feeling scared and anxious is totally normal. I almost talked myself out of the surgery I was so scared but the kind people on these boards talked some sense into me and calmed me down. I was sleeved July 10th and am doing great. Best decision ever. You will have moments where you are afraid but move forward and think positive. The best is yet to come! -

Hi all. 15 days post op and not tolerating my chewables. Coming right up. Can someone recommend a good multi and good calcium with d that I can swallow? I don’t have trouble swallowing pills. Bought these chewables before surgery. Thanks.

I was sleeved July 10th. Pure water tastes gross to me and it makes me nauseous. I have to add crystal light to make it bearable. -

Hi I’m 47 years old. Had my period in June and was sleeved on July (10th)-no period in July or august. We will see if I get it this month (September). There are several posts on these boards about how such major surgery affects your cycle. I’d welcome never having my period again. -
I’m sleeved July 10th and can’t stomach the protein shakes anymore. Trying new foods about finding many meats don’t agree with my stomach so I’ve gotten sick. 😢. Looking for some new recipes as chicken is getting old.

Yes-I had the same problem with vision. Apparently it’s a side effect if you get it on your fingers.
