Hi there. I go in for surgery tomorrow. I’m ridden with anxiety and worry but trying to meditate a little and think positively. All will be well. I trust my surgeon and his team. Think ahead to when you’ve lost your weight and you’re feeling so much better. That’s what I’m focusing on. Best of luck.

Is this the case two weeks prior to surgery? I held the nsaids but took vitamins. Can someone clarify?

Hi all. I posted earlier I am getting sleeved this Tuesday and was having serious second thoughts. These boards have been a blessing because I have the confidence now to move forward thanks to some great advice and reading about the good experiences people have had and are having with this surgery and life after. Wondering who else is getting sleeved this week and maybe would like a buddy to talk to?

Hi. I suffer from anxiety and have had many panic attacks. They are horrible. Key for me was getting on the right meds to control them. I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow and I am panicking because I didn’t hold my vitamins. Didn’t know I had to. Get a good psychiatrist who will be patient with you until you find the right med combo. Best of luck.

Hi all. New to forum. Scheduled for the gastric sleeve on Tuesday and thinking about backing out. So many worrisome issues people are having in these forums. I am scared to death of complications. I have Hugh blood pressure sleep apnea and am borderline diabetic. I weigh 229 and my goal weight is 140. I know I need to do this but I am terrified there will be complications. Can anyone offer me any advice? I really don’t want to call this surgery off after all the hard work I’ve done. Sad and anxious.

Yes. I am a single mom to three boys. Youngest is 13. My mother will be helping me and I have a lot of family support and friend support thankfully. Couldn’t do this without them.

Feeling panicky. On all clears. Trying to deep breathe and focus to keep calm. Nerves getting the best of me. Anyone else going in tomorrow experiencing the same thing?

Just found out I have to be at the hospital at 7am. Deep breathing.

Hi all. Having sleeve done Tuesday. I have moderate sleep apnea. Hate the cpap. Very claustrophobic. Don’t wear it all the time. Does anyone here have sleep apnea and had to bring cpap to hospital day of surgery?

Hi there. I’m having my surgery tomorrow and I am super nervous. You’re doing great and you’re almost there so keep up the good work! I am a bundle of nerve today. Packed my bag last night. Clear fluids all day. Best of luck to you!
