We have the same surgery date...I’m at 202 and patiently waiting to dip under 200 😁 You’ll get there! I haven’t been losing as quickly as I’d like but at least the scale is moving in the right direction. I’ve had some stalls along the way. Just taking it day by day. Are you losing hair? I am in clumps. 😪

Congrats to you. Here’s to a smooth recovery. I was sleeved July 10th and recently hit onederland. Haven’t been under two hundred in I don’t know how long! Keep moving and following the plan! 👍

Did really well this Thanksgiving. Started with turkey and had small bites of veges and mashed potatoes. Got full pretty quickly but didn’t feel “left out” like I didn’t get to enjoy the meal. Wasn’t as bad as I expected. -

It’s going to take some time to get used to not eating like you used to. Mentally it’s tough at first. I was very emotional the first few weeks....cried a lot. Mourned the old way of coping.....with food. It gets easier. Hang in there and be strong! -

I have experienced vomiting if I swallow big pieces. It takes practice to learn to chew everything to baby food consistency when you’ve spent your whole life scarfing down food in minutes.
