I would like to know if blending has an effect on it. I cant imagine why it would? but it would be good to know. I have the Magic Bullet too - love it. Easy to use and easy to clean!

Welcome Arsonal and edeeformell! I had to do a stress test too - wasnt a big deal at all, just seemed like one more thing to check off before I could get my surgery. I was actually glad they did all the tests - it had been a long time since I had seen a doctor, so I wanted them to check for everything possible. I have met a lot of wonderful people on here and they have truly helped me! Glad to see some new Houston-area members!

I work with a close-knit group (about 12 of us) and I let them know about it far in advance. They knew when I was first looking into it and going to seminars. I have a terrific boss and a great group of coworkers that are extremely supportive and are great motivators. One even had the surgery a week before me. We're able to go through this together and share experiences. I know not everyone has the same kind of work environment, but I'm glad I told them. Its made this a lot easier for me. At first they asked every other day how much the 2 of us have lost - but since the weight loss has slowed way down, they dont ask nearly as much...but thats ok!

Hello! When you log in - you'll go to your home page on Twitter, just type in the box at the top under "What are you doing" and then hit Update. That will update your status. To find people, look at the very top right hand part of the page. You'll see "Find People". Click on that and you can enter full names or screen names. LOL - too funny! I completely agree with you on Joe Biden! I'll be daring this week - heading out to the Offshore Technology Conference on Wednesday...in a crowd of thousands..with NO surgical mask! :thumbup: We have had several schools close here because they THINK one person MAY have the pig flu..not because its been confirmed..but a kids got sick. These schools are closing for 2 weeks. I dont have any kids - but what do the parents do for those 2 weeks??

LOL - I dont know why, but I'm addicted to the Saw movies. My cousin and I have gone to each one on opening night. This past weekend went to see Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. Was actually a cute movie. I thought it would be one of those you-wont-ever-be-happy-and-youll-die-alone-if-you're-not-married movies..but it wasnt. I dont think I'd go see it again, but it does make you laugh and cry (oh yes, major chick flick). Saw "Obsessed" with Beyonce the week before. TERRIBLE. Awful movie. Horrible "acting" and you knew exactly how it would end. Sorry, but who is "obsessed" with someone the first 3 minutes they meet him and goes berserk? Whatever. Complete waste of money. :thumbup:

This was my first surgery ever too. When I first started the process of going through tests and all the initial appointments, I was nervous...but the surgeon, staff and hospital staff were fantastic and I was really relaxed on the morning of my surgery. I'm down in Houston - but definitely a Cowboys fan! Especially Zach Thomas! Best wishes!

Mine have gone down too...I didnt have much to start with - was a full C, now B fits just fine. Bras were the first piece of clothing I had to buy in a smaller size. One good thing - now I can get all those cute bras in all the different designs..LOL..no more boring tan, white and black...now I have polka dots, zebra stripe...fun stuff! I still have a ways to go and I can only hope the band size goes down, not the cup size!
