  2. I am counting down the days too!!
Everything has been going well over here! I’m only allowed Clear Liquids the first week, but will be able to start full liquids Tuesday. I’m excited for some yogurt and pudding lol. I Just can’t wait to put something in my mouth besides liquid. I’m so excited for the upcoming changes though.
Your Doctor not letting you eat yogurt, applesauce, etc yet? My Dr. Sent me home on a stage 3 diet which contains yogurt, and somewhat tasty stuff. However he wants me to focus on getting more fluids into my system and worry about Protein, etc next week.

  3. Dessy, I’m so glad you’re doing well! I had my vsg on 6/25. I just had to comment because I’ve seriously been craving eggs too! I’ve always liked them, but was never a big egg eater. I’m thinking it’ll be my first food though whenever I can have it!!
Lol, same with me. I was never an egg eater now all of a sudden I'm craving eggs like crazy. I saw a few recipes on how to make egg bread, it looks extremely yummy. Maybe that's why I want to eat eggs so badly, lol. I'm assuming everything has been going well for you since you got your VSG? I think we can start chowing down on some eggs in week 3. Which will be the week of June 12th for me, (yayy) I'm counting down the days[emoji847]

  4. I often mix it with light cocoa, the warm beverage goes down easier and even has some Protein in it (though you are probably on shakes only). If the shakes are too sweet or thick try mixing them with Water (I added 10 oz of Water per 12 oz shake). That really helped me
Thanks! I will give it a try because mostly everything I eat taste super sweet. And Jello brings a lot of pain to my stomach. So I stopped eating jello all together. Thanks for the advice. I can't wait till I am able to eat an egg. For some reason I been craving scrambled eggs lately, lol. Super random 🤣🤣

  5. Not sure if they recommended it, but start taking a stool softener or miralax now. I waited a couple weeks and the first BM was worse than the surgery! The gas pain is outside your digestive system (they inflate you like a balloon), so it has to reabsorb. Walking is really the only thing that helps.
I actually added some Miralax into my applesauce last night. I saw a lot of people talk about maralax and how it made things a bit easier for them. So I figured I'll add some into my food. Which probably played a part in me farting this morning. I walk way to much to the point where my stomach gets that deep cramp feeling, but I won't let it stop me. I take a little break then get back up and do it all over again.

  6. Hey I just wanted to check up on everyone who got their sleeve last week (including me) and June sleevers period. I don't know about ya'll but never in a million years would I thought that it would take me 24 hours to sip down a 8 0z bottle of water🤯. Omg and the gas pain. I never been so anxious to fart in my life. I passed gas for the first time today since the surgery and I was so happy, lol. Who would of thought farting could make someone sooo happy, lol. The gas is legit the only pain I have a problem with. It's floating all around inside of me and it's driving me nuts!!!!! Then there's the sugar free foods&drinks that taste like pure sugar. Everything I eat is sugar free and it taste like it was made with nothing but sugar. However, I find the cream of chicken to be the best Soup (for me) to eat after surgery. It feels nice and warm and smooth going into my new belly. I plan on buying some popsicles today and see how that goes, because for some reason it's taking me way to long to drink my Water and crystal light, Jello and a few other things taste way to sweet and my tummy can't handle it. Anybody else having the same issues or experiencing something different? 20180630_085727.jpeg

  7. I’ve sent a friend request to all who shared emails. Does anyone know how to join us all into a group?

Also how do we do challenge or add goals?

I’m on restriction from too much activity due to a hiatal hernia - can walk but not strenuous activity for 6 weeks. But I’d love to set a step goal - say 10% more steps than your weekly average

I'm also kinda limited at the moment due to just having my surgery. I get a lot of walks in but barely enough liquids and that's like super important.... I will try to figure out to to put us all into a group, etc.

  8. [emoji1022]󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿" userid="342591"]Mine is tomorrow Friday June 29th.. I can’t wait [emoji4] I feel nervous [emoji51] but excited. Good luck with everything and speedy recovery [emoji173]️
Thanks sammy good luck tomorrow. I was nervous too but everything happens so freaking fast it's remarkable. The only time you might feel harsh pain is right after the procedure but it goes away right after they give you meds. Don't worry your going to do great.

  9. I am ok, My surgery was pushed back to August 14th. Really Bummed. Its at a Military hospital so that could change back to sooner. I was ready to get on with it. I am in Georgia near Savannah. This weather is so HOT and steamy. The mosquitos run on gangs here, lol
Awwww that must be quite frustrating to have the date pushed back. Hopefully they move it back up in the mean time... I use to live in Augusta Georgia back when I was a teen, so I remember just how hot it gets down there. I hate mosquitos their super annoying [emoji79].

  11. Day 2 and I honestly have to say that I feel amazing. I am now drinking liquids which is going down smoothly. Walks have been amazing. Me and my roommate have a walking schedule which makes it more fun. The spirometer is also a fun little gadget. I felt nauseous a couple of times but they gave me some medicine for that, and haven't had a problem since. My incisions looks lovely, no pain whatsoever. Now I am waiting for lunch which will be Jello and chicken broth. I will let you amazing people know how that is going for me. And again I wanna thank everyone for the lovely warm wishes yesterday and for constantly checking in on me, you guys rockSnapchat-224509428.jpeg 20180628_054634.jpeg

  12. Hey everyone I'm checking in again while my head is clear. I've been walking a lot and as far as pain goes I am still doing okay. I haven't started liquid, I think they will bring it around 6 (which is around the corner) as far as being hungry I don't have an appetite, however I am super thirsty. I love the way walking feels on my body. So for everyone having surgery today try to walk as much as possible it will help with that tense feeling your body might feel afterwards. Again thanks to everyone for wishing me luck and checking up on me I truly appreciate every single last one of you[emoji8]
