Andrea, You have lost 49 lbs. You were banded 2 months ago...you have done great! DO NOT compare yourself to others on this board! It will get to you. Everyone loses at different rates. Compared to some I am a slow loser, others I am faster than. Don't let everybodys weight loss make you feel like a failure! This is 49 lbs LOST NOT gained. Good luck. -
I get a rash on my chest after every fill. I think it is the barium I have to drink. When I seen your post it was like a light bulb going off. I put 2&2 together and got my answer. It last for about a week for me and itches like crazy. I need to get me some benydril cream.

What I won't miss: Pretty much what was already said, but.. 1) judging chairs when I go somewhere..will it hold me or break? 2) avoiding stairs when at all possible or taking them 1 @ a time. 3) being afraid of falling and needing help getting up 4) asking my dd to cut my toenails when she comes over 5) the oh my goodness looks from people when I go out to eat.

Hello Terri and welcome. Awsome weight loss since banding. Just be careful on weighing. A lot of people gain at this point and get dicouraged. So try not to weigh to often. Good luck on your journey.

the other day I posted about me being able to wear some of my rings again. Well I tried on my mothers wedding band today and I can wear it! That meant the world to me cause I haven't worn it in 11 yrs. -

Pain, I think it is a southern thing when it gets to 60 degrees out and people break out the heavey down filled coats and scarves! They do it here in Alabama also.LOL. Fall and spring are my favorite seasons. But here in Bama you have almost fall, winter, almost sping and summer. So instead of 4 seasons we have 3. (if you add almost spring and fall it = 1 season. so 2 +1=3):cursing: -
FYI Sharon Ozborn has the band. She has had it for 5 or 6 yrs. She has talked about taking it out. She say's she knows how to eat now.
