When out in the pantry there arose such a clatter I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter. Away to the kitchen I flew like a flash, Tore open the icebox then threw up the sash. The marshmallow look of the new-fallen snow Sent thoughts of a binge to my body below. When what to my wandering eyes should appear: A marzipan Santa with eight chocolate reindeer! That huge chunk of candy so luscious and slick, I knew in a second that I'd wind up sick. The sweet-coated Santa, those sugared reindeer I closed my eyes tightly but still I could hear: On Pritzker, on Stillman, on weak one, on TOPS A Weight Watchers dropout from sugar detox. >From the top of the scales to the top of the hall Now dash away pounds, now dash away all. Dressed up in Lane Bryant from my head to nightdress, My clothes were all bulging from too much excess. My droll little mouth and my round little belly They shook when I laughed like a bowl full of jelly. I spoke not a word but went straight to my work, Ate all of the candy then turned with a jerk. And laying a finger beside my heartburn, I gave a quick nod toward the bedroom I turned. I eased into bed, to the heavens I cry: If temptation's removed, I'll get thin by and by. If you can do liquids for the rest of tonight. Do them in the morning to. If everything is getting stuck you might be swollen some. The liquids will help to allow the swelling to go down a little. Hope this works. Merry Christmas.

You have done the right thing in making an appointment. How soon do you go in? How long has this been going on? You might need to go to the ER if your appointment is further away than Mon. or Tues. I am not a dr. so I can only speculate at what could be going on. I don't know if I would wait the weekend before going to the ER. If you can eat, (can you drink) there is a possibility of becoming malnourished and dehydrated. I pray that it isn't anything major,and you get it delt with quickly. Keep us posted please.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! It sure is quiet in here. I have been up for an hr. It usually takes me 1 or 2 hrs. before I get in LB to read. I finish all of my e-mails first and My Space, then I come here. This is last because it takes me the longest to finish. I love this site! Have a blessed day!

Susan- I am so glad to see you are back on track! WOOOOOWHOOOOOOO. Hula girl will have to do for happy dance. LuLuc- I am a cheeseaholic. I always have been. This is the 1 thing I won't give up. I actually have withdrawals from it If I don't have some at least every other day. People don't believe it until they see it.My kids could buy me a block of cheese for Christmas and I would be happy. I go through a large block usually within a week. sms- is your mom banded? I think a size 2 is what my right leg wears.

Hi Anita. I was banded on May 13, 2008. I have lost 44 lbs so far. It sounds like you need a fill. I would get one asap. Please don't give up. You can do this. It is ok to have some of the goodys we have at holiday times, just don't overdo it. What I have found out is that if I treat myself with a little bit I don't go crazy trying to stay away from it. Then I don't overindulge when I get it. I'm not saying this is a perfect solution, it's not. I have gone overboard, just not as often or as much as I used to. Good luck Anita. Keep us posted please. I tried on a old robe of mine this morning and it fit me again and it is loose!

I had cobra at the time of banding but was self pay. When I was going to stop Cobra I talked to BCBS to get individual, no can do. The surgery is considered a pre-existing condition. I was told by them and 3 other insurances that I would have to wait 1 yr, to get insurance unless through a job. If you have any luck please let me know.

Will your insurance cover Dr. Groves? He is from Albertville but comes to Madison once a month. He did my surgury and I love him. He also has the band. If you want more information pm me and I will give you the info. Good luck.

Sorry BBK, I usually tell people their not going to like what I have to say when they keep pushing me. I know it hurts and bothers you, but try to think about something good about the person. Sometimes this helps me because I know I can then call and talk to them honestly. I tell them why I called (remembered something good) it helps to break the ice. Then I let them know I want to talk to them about what I said and why I said it. Good luck hon. So sorry about your dad. I know what your going thru. Time does help. I lost my pop 1 1/2 yrs ago. I still have some bad days, but I do better. I know when my mom passed it took me almost 3 yrs not to think about her most days. Everyone greives at a different pace. Just don't worry about anything right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My hair didn't fall out or get shiney. My scalp got dry and my hair is dull unless I dye it or change shampoos all the time. I have 3 different types of shampoo. I am fixing to do a mayo treatment this weekend. Hopefully this will help. I used to do this a lot in my younger days.
