GGGrrrrrr....can't find the Christmas pics of the family I uploaded on my puter. Went to put them on the site and only have 2 older ones from right before Thanksgiving. This is DD and DGD that is moving in. Thank you Kat. It sounds like you have had an open door also! LOL. My middle DD and her whole family, hubby and kids have all lived here several times over the yrs. My youngest DD and her hubby got married and didn't leave until June of this yr. The reason they stayed is because she has severe meniere's disease and can't work. They where afraid to leave in case she would have a seizure. They finally got over being afraid. Her hubby can leave work early if need be or I go over If she needs me. I had my own day care 20 yrs ago and I am a sub. teacher. But I still have trouble wrapping my brain around the way kids act when their parents show up. Shoot I was to afraid of acting out when I was a kid. Not only would the persons whose home I was at would paddle me, but I would get it twice as hard at home. sorry so long I'm just getting a little nevous.:tongue2:

Thank you Beth, CC and Susan. I will definitely need them! I found out a little while ago that she is going to start moving in today after work instead of tomorrow when she is off. She wants to call the police and have them there when she gets her stuff tomorrow. That way he won't pull any crap. He has a warrant out for him, I don't know why they don't just go ahead and pick him up! All the police around here knows where he lives. But then on the flip side maybe this is God's way of getting my DD and me closer. I am very close to my other 2 DD's. Just not as close to her. Then maybe I will be a better influence on her than when she was a child. I can't undo things from the past but I can help her understand more. She sees more having her own DD and a jerk for the worse half. I think that is how I am going to look at it. God and his mysterious ways.

OK all my friends here. I am gonna need your help in the comming days and weeks please. My oldest DD asked if her and my DGD can move in. I am thankful that she is once again trying to leave the person she lives with. Hopefully this is the finale time. But the help I will need is support. I can feel emotional eating already. I love them dearly and would do anything in my power for all my children and grandbabies. But I see myself (when I was younger) in my DD. We never could get along (being together) for long periods of time. My DGD is so different when moms not here. She minds me and obeys the rules as well as any 5 yr. old can. But soon as DD shows up my DGD starts acting like booboo the fool! I have already layed down the law to both of them and what can and can not be brought into the house for snacks. This is going to be interesting! The last time my DD lived with me was before DGD. Then she only stayed a month. Sorry so long. and Thanks ahead of time!

P-Body, I think this may be some what a normal occurrence. I feel that at times. I have to fight through it but I usually do. That is why sometimes I lose the same 3 lbs over and over. Good luck.

If money were no object I would... I would give to my church. pay off all my bills pay off my house, fence in the yard, do some light work on it and use it for single mothers to get back on there feet. I would have classes on money management (I need that) for them. They would have to pay utilities, phone and cable. No rent. They would have 1 or 2 yrs to get their own home. I would have my dream home out in the country. Some what green... I would put up money for my grandchildren's college funds help my family and friends. (close friends) not woodwork friends or family. I would start a non profit for WLS for those who can't afford it and insurance won't pay for it. I then would travel. oh I forgot..plastic surgery!

I forgot to mention that I had done 2 other meds, the patch (smoked with it on) and the gum and lozenges.

Chantix worked for me. You have to decide what you want more....the band or a cig. I wanted the band more. I had smoked for 33 yrs ( that does not include 2 yrs that I had stopped before then started again.) I haven't even craved a cig since I stopped this time. Chantix didn't seem like it was helping me. Then 1 day on the 2nd pk of pills I woke up and did'nt want any cigs. I threw the pack I had away and all the ashtrays except for 1 (for people who smoke) all lighters and matches, all trashed. But everyone is different. So good luck.

Welcome. I am also from Alabama. Everyone has different restriction with different amounts of fills. It depends on your body and band. I have found out bands are finicky. I think anyone that has been banded for a while will agree with that. I had good restriction at #4. But could have been better. Didn't get 1 this month and regret it now. Can't wait till Jan. so I can get another fill. My Dr. is here once a month. I don't want to drive 1 1/2 hrs to get a fill, or I would get it sooner. Good luck on your journey.

BBK, ignore ignorant people who think they are not prone to falling by the wayside. I don't care who you are it happens. Just some people will say they messed up and others think if they don't say anything no one will know. It eventually catches up with them. If they want to vent, maybe they needed to vent at me since I told you about the pouch test. After all I am on it right now. Then I will think out a nice scathing but polite comment.

nana-booboo....:tt2:I will be on day 4 of pouch test! I will be about done. :hurray: I knew if I didn't start it right away I wouldn't have done it. :devil_smile:That is why I started yesterday.. I am having carb and sugar withdrawals though. I have had a headache since yesterday afternoon. Going from no sugar and very little carbs to eating it every waking moment for 2 weeks then back down to normal has it affects. :cheated:I will survive though. I will not do this again! Once in a while is ok...but all the time....noooooooo. No wonder I stayed tired before LB. I was a carbaholic. I crave sweets more since banding than before. Probably just a mental thing.
