Welcome to the boards! This is a very friendly and supportive community. There are lots of veterans who are willing to share their experience and also those who will be having surgery the same time as you and want to share the experience.
The "status updates" like you've posted, generally don't get many responses. If you'd like to get more input, you would do better to create a thread. Your best bet would be in the "pre-op" forum or even (I think) there's an "introduction" type forum.
Best wishes for a smooth surgery and a speedy recovery!

Hi and welcome to the forums. I too had a lot of mixed emotions, I started to lose weight when I started with my NUT 3 mos prior to surgery and I questioned if I even needed it. I did go through with it and it was the best decision. It is very normal to feel like you are.
When you say "How did you get things prepared?" was there something in particular you are thinking about like hospital stay or family meal preparedness? I might be able to offer some thoughts, but don't want to drown you in too much info.
