I find Mio better than crystal light, but prefer the Bai drinks to flavored water!

If you're comfortable calling out their unprofessional behavior on the spot, do so. If not, speak to your HR or supervisor. It's not acceptable behavior.

June Sleevers Lets Get Excited!!!
Hi all! For the first time in who knows how long, I'm officially (according to BMI) not obese! SW 286 CW 209 Kinda shocking! I never really believed this would work, doubted my discipline/"will power", but took the leap anyways. I've gone from 2 blood pressure meds to 0, and am still losing slowly and steadily. Next stop, One-derland!

How fast can I bounce back?
I was out for a solid 2w, but I'm older, and probably could have been back at a week if I'd had to really push it.

40 something sleevers?
Sleeved just before my 44th birthday. I’m 4 months post-op tomorrow, and down 72 pounds (286 to 214). Proud of how my hard work is paying off, and love how proud my wife and kids are as well!

regain weight
But there is no proof that different anaotomical siting of bypass would influence results. And 200 pounds were lost initially. This isn't on the surgeon.

Most everyone I know met their partner at school, at work, through a friend/family setting them up, or online. I wonder if anyone out here has ever connected? or for that matter how many of us are married (me, eg) or single?

Awful complications
I don't think acute post-op ulcers are caused by H Pylori

Awful complications
Sorry this happened to you, BeeCat. Heal up quickly! Hopefully nothing more than a speed bump on your road to recovery.

Blood Transfusion?
It's unusual, and the blood bank supply is extraordinarily safe. I wouldn't bother.

UGHHHH! Coughing Post Surgery (6+ months out)
That's interesting! I had the same thing, but it went away by about 2 months post-op. I'd forgotten about it - never did figure out what that was about.

I have lost 45 pounds!
Keep up the good work!

My surgery date is coming
Make sure you're walking and hydrating - especially if having a fever, which can predispose to dehydration and blood clots. And if the fever is persisting, make sure you call your surgical team!

Most synagogues have singles events. Otherwise it's through activities I hear - charities, clubs, sporting groups, alumni groups, etc. But what's wrong with online?

Mandy, it sounds like you are really struggling. Have you spoken with your surgeon and their team? Dehydration can be a vicious cycle - being dehydrated makes you feel nauseated, then you don’t drink, and on and on. Experiment with hot and cold drinks, sour and sweet. It was weeks before I could do water, it was those bottles of Bai that got me through week 1.

Frustr8, have you been prescribed and are you using anti nausea medicine (onsdansetron aka zofran)? It can help a lot with post operative nausea and vomiting
