    Hey 50 & over gang We have a new spot

    :rolleyes:It's been sometime since i 've posted.Life is so good, grandbaby 6 bounced into our life a week early,but is doing great.Lost 3 1/2 pounds in the last two weeks.Nothing sounds good to eat, and don't feel like cooking.BUSY EXERCISEING EVERYDAY AND THAT ALWAYS PICKS UP MY SPIRTS. Honey, got me 3 pair of slacks for Christmas, had to take them back was 16-18 ladies, down to 10-12 pettie.Wow who would have thought..Let's all just get out there and move it.. Have a great day.

    I LOVE MY RELIZE BAND*** It's been the best give i gave myself.Was band on Aug 5th this year, and down 55lbs and tons of inches.Had to go and get new dress slacks for work today.Last year size 16-18 ladies, today size 10 pettie..Happy dance for me.So everyone get out there and move, exercise,walk, ride a bike. Make it happen, "Find the NEW U"..
  4. Juli, went in on the 18th for fill, which i needed so bad.Long talk with trainer, his words were the same.. time to let curves go. asking santa for spinner bike, and new dvd's with medicine ball. Thanks charlietuna.. oh ya i went down some, so much better than none.

    Has anyone taken up Bycyling?

    HELP....I went to doc to check blood pressure up 2 1/2 pounds in 4 weeks.being oh so careful,but...Will go back Thursday see if i can get filled.Been 5 weeks and never has feeling that i can't eat up to 2 cups a meal.Guess the good is i've lost 5 inches around body.Is this a road block??Would lov some feed back on those who have been here, and hopefully there is better time. snow huggs from Idaho

    Hi everyone, somedays i wonder what more i could do to move the scale..lost 21/2 pounds in 4 weeks and that is with a fill.drink water, exercise 3 times a day. but no move at all.i set my goal to be down 7 ibs for christmas.just not happening any ideas????

    HEY EVERYONE, I'VE been other places on this site but found you all. Was band Aug 5th this year down 60 pounds and about 45 inches all over my body.Best thing i've done for myself.I run and walk 1 1/2 miles a day,core training 5 days a week also curves everyday.So much energy not sure where it came from.Start trainig for 5k after Christmas...Lost three pounds on turkey day, food just wasn't my thing this year..     November Exercise Challenge

    I'm in.. Slow getting excrise report in, computor gave up the ghost.Back stronger than ever, any way every day walk 11/2 mile, core strengthing 45 minutes everyday. And 30 minutes"CURVES" EVERY OTHER DAY. I just want to go and go and go do more exerciseing.Love the new me down another 9 pounds for the month..

    Sorry slow posting, remodeling kitchen.I'm walking 2 miles everyday, strength trainig for 30 minutes and do curves 30 minutes..Weight has slowed down, so more water, more water and pushing harder.Goal to be down 15 pounds by 12-12..

    Ok, i'm pushing forward.walk 1 1/2 mile 30 minutes curves, 30 cardio. scale reads that i'm up 10 pounds..WHY??? very upset, working butt off and being so careful.. Keep working on my self..

    HMM, FEEL LIKE A "WHALE",THINK IT'S A MIND GAME.But friday walked my 11/2 miles and curves. Saturday, walked 4 miles and Sunday 30 minutes cardio, 2 1/2 miles walked.Today 30 minutes curves 30 cardio and 11/2 mile walk.Still feel like i'm so fluffy hope it moves away soon.

  18. I love goaling to curves, doc said that is way good. body burns one 30 minute work out for 2-3 days after.also walk 2 1/2 miles at night.. good luck

    I'M IN...I walked 2 1/2 miles tonight and worked out at curves.Goal is to lose 17 more pounds before 12/12/2008. Lets all just keep on moving, past is gone.Make the best of each new day..

    :smile:Slim, it didn't happen over night to gain your weight, so won't happen over night to lose.It's a mind set. Make up your mind you want to be healther and better every day. Start small and work up to the bigger picture.Then you feel bad if you miss a day.I walk 4 miles in the evening and do curves in the a.m. feel so much better the 5th is my 3rd month anivers with band down 43 pounds, inches are melting away.so just go for it.

  22. Mimi. be nice to yourself, think we all had a little sweets on friday.You know how to stop those..don't do it. Ichew lots of sugar free gum.But i to had a little goodie.So means i will walk another mile and do extra set ups.We are learn all the time, find the good you did this week.Let's all make nov a month to "LOSE"..Set the goal weight where you want to be and go for it, have family help you reach it..Good-Luck

    Olinka, best of luck in 2 days..Listen to the doc, for he knows what is going on.Don't compare yourself to others, stay away from those who want to steal "YOUR DREAM". Start walking as soon as you are able to, add more time, learn to make exerciseing your new best friend.Do it everyday. Drink water, listen to your body.Enjoy finding the 'NEW U'..Please keep us posted.Prayers are with you
  24. HELLO EVERYONE...hARD TO BELIVE THAT ON aUG 5TH I WAS BAND AND CHANGED FOR EVER..For oct down another 10 pnds and 6 1/2 inches.. it's great feel like a new person. only 75 more to go..

    WAY TO GO.. The band is the best thing, totaly understand about trying on new clothes, it's the best and keeps getting better. Days you don't want to work out do it anyway.. More weight will melt away.. good luck.
